in >> catherine: two people are dead after a shooting at a nevada middle school. police say the shooter is a student who killed himself before it was all over. shannon travis tells us what happened. >> reporter:shots rang out just after 7 a-m local time at a middle school in sparks, nevada-- just outside of reno. police say a student opened fire inside the school. >>the teacher was trying to make him put it down, but he took the shot right then and there. i tried to tell everyone this is happening, and we need to just go >>he walked up to a teacher and says back up, the teacher backs up, and he pulls the trigger. >> reporter:authorities say the student gunman is dead. but won't say exactly how he died. two other students were also shot. officials say one is in fair condition while the other is now in serious condition. >>upon arrival there were two students that were injured. there was a staff member that is deceased and
