compartments as the train pulled into the station. aileen coutte was on her way home from school when she noticed the smoke. everybody started to evacuate. i just woke up and i saw everybody leaving the trains so i thought it was out of service. so, when i walked out of the train i noticed that one of the cars was smoking. the fire department arrived within minutes of the call and quickly went to work

putting the fire out. the crews went up to the platform and hooked up to the water and once the third rail was de-energized, they went undernieth the car to fight the fire. the fire was put out in a short amount of time but the train remained on the track for several hours so officals could inspect the damage and get to the cause of the fire.

chino police say the ar-15 was on a rack attached to a motorcycle on display during a drug prevention assembly. a child managed to fire the rifle. the bullet shattered, making metal debris that hit the children and left them with minor injuries. two students were treated at hospitals and one was treated at school for cuts and scrapes. all rifles have now been removed from department motorcycles and the incident is under investigation.

the fire department arrived within minutes of the call and quickly put out the fire. fire officials say the fire was located underneath one of the middle cars. and, the smoke from that fire billowed into the passenger compartments as it pulled into the station. passengers say the fire department did a great job keeping everyone calm and evacuating them safely. take a look at this cell phone video that was shot by a passenger who was evacuated from the smoking train at the orinda station. the call came out
