>> a developing story out of menlo park this morning. where an alleged drunk driver hits and kills two people walking their dog. kron four's will tran is live at the accident scene with more on how it happened. >> she lost control of the car. there were four people inside of this ongoin car. ultimately, she slammed into a tree in fact here is video of the scene. it happened about 7:00 p.m. last night and it was dark. we do not know the identification of the two people but we do know they were in their 50s. the bulk suffered injuries and was taken to the humane society. they're not giving us information and whether

not the dog survived but as far as this woman she is 54 years old. and police stated that her name is marjorie. she was complaining that she had chest pains. they realize that it might have been at all or she was just acting strange career after she was treated she will be charged with manslaughter. >> more on this story to come. >> the golden gate bridge traffic is looking good. the bad news is that you may be paying more to cross the. mike pelton is live with more. >> the bridge district projects about $842 million deficit. this is one of the big issues to talk about at the economic meeting. this will also bring a toll

increase. the last hole increase was in september 2008. the toll increase by a dollar. they are expected to issue a another one in 2013. the board is tried to outline a new economic plan. they will discuss a lot of this today in my november that may have a timeline. a hearing should take place before they reach a decision and a possible increase could come as early as next april. they will also look at other options. they may also look into increasing advertisement. a $1 toll increase can help reduce the deficit. the board would not make any decision for several months. >> kron-4 has learned that the families of some of the victims in a limousine fire on the san mateo bridge have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against six different companies,

including a limo repair company, and ford motor here is video of that accident. five women were killed in the may 4th fire as they rode across the bridge, four others were injured a three-month investigation found there was a problem with the limo's rear suspension. no one was criminally charged -- but the p-u-c fined the limo operator for carrying too many >> bart's board of directors honored the two workers killed on the tracks last weekend. laurence daniels and christopher sheppard were hit and killed by a train. but the meeting was not the healing moment the board might have hoped for. a-t-u president antonette bryant admits the accident is still under investigation, but she lays the blame at the feet of the bart board. >> this resolution is insulting because it should not have happened. these two men should be with us and we should not be standing here

align >> bicyclists are finally being allowed to bring their bikes on bart trains. the bike ban has been lifted.and bikes will be allowed on bart starting december 1- st.with a few restrictions. bikes will not be allowed in the first car at any time or in the first three cars during peak commuter hours in the morning and afternoon. they also will not be allowed on crowded trains. in 20 -12 bart conducted trials to test the bike plan.and with each trial they found an increased acceptance of bikes among passengers.

monitored communications from 35 world leaders. >> police records show that the boyfriend of the woman who was shot to death after a car chase outside the u.s. capitol had expressed concern about her emotional stability and the safety of their infant daughter. a report from the stamford, conn., police department says miriam carey told officers who responded back in december of last year that president barack obama had her under surveillance and she described herself as the "prophet of stamford." the 34-year-old carey was killed oct. 3 after trying to ram her car through a white house barrier with her daughter in the vehicle. the girl survived. carey had been diagnosed with postpartum depression and psychosis. >> tennessee authorities say a national guardsman shot two of his superiors at an armory in suburban memphis. a national guard official

says the alleged shooter is a sergeant and a seasoned recruiter. the motive behind incident is still under investigation.but one official says the suspect was being disciplined prior to the shooting. when police arrived.they found the suspect was already apprehended by other national guard members. according to police, each victim was shot once, one in the leg, the other in the foot -- neither injury is life-threatening. >> some documents in the jonbenet ramsey case will be unsealed today.despite the objections of her father. after a long legal fight, a judge ordered the release of documents showing a grand jury actually voted to indict jonbenet's parents in her death. as you may remember, john and patsy ramsey were never charged in the 19-96 death of their six-year-old daughter. the d-a that handled the case said he never went forward with the indictment, because there wasn't enough evidence to warrant filing charges. >> >> an update now to restore

auto safety regulators are not going to open a formal investigation into the october 2nd fire that damaged a tesla electric car near seattle. the national highway traffic safety administration says there is no indication at the time that the fire was caused by a safety defect. the tesla model s head road debris on the freeway. the debris then punctured a shield and the battery, touching off a fire that engulfed the front of the car. the driver escaped without injury. >> twitter has set a price range of $17 to $20 a share for their much anticipated initial public offering and says that it could raise a not as much as $1.6 billion in the process. twitter is

begun and demolition of sandy hook elementary school in newtown, connecticut. the small-scale demolition will take several weeks as the building will be removed and pieces. the school was the side of the 2012 shooting where a gunman killed 20 children and six adults. new town has accepted a $50 million grant to raise and the building and to build a new school. the school is expected to open december 2016. >> the killing of a popular high school math teacher has stunned the community and danvers, massachusetts. classes' resume today at denver's high school where collen ritzer was allegedly killed tuesday by a 14 year- old student, philip chism. police are stating that she was followed by the student into a bathroom where she

was beaten and killed with a box cutter. they stated that he allegedly dumped her body in the woods, before changing clothes and going to a local wendy's. they also stated that he went to the movies as well. he is being held without bond, if he is an indicted on first or second degree murder, the team will be tried as an adult. >> one of the young victims of the sparks and middle school shooting is talking for the first time. on monday, may 12th rose to been brought a gun to school and shot and killed a the math teacher might cut landsberry. to what the steelers were wounded in the gunfire. one of them, 12 year-old mason. was shot and abdomen as he tried to help the teacher. >> when i was shot are realize that the gun was not a toy, it was a real weapon.
