able to refine the forecast for you just a little bit more to keep the tune here to kron4. at 618 let's talk some more news here. we are getting more information about the san francisco sheriff's department search for when spaulding at san francisco general hospital. 0--lynn spalding. sheriff ross mirkarimi went through the list of things that went wrong during the 17 day search for the spaulding. the trouble started when deputies got a report patient and wandered off. the deputy in charge did not consider this a missing persons case. and if permission was not passed on to the next the deputies on shift. then the ship to said hospital staff misidentified spalding, who is white first as african- american and then as asian in hospital logs. when a

believe he may have seen the entire thing happened. the woman believed to cause the crash is marjorie reitzell of redwood city. police say she was driving drunk when she hit the couple and their ran her vehicle rights into another car or truck full of teenagers before striking a tree. reitzell is expected to enter a plea today. >>darya: a dramatic spike in car thefts and san leandro. police say in the past week close to two dozen cars have been reported stolen. overall from year to year, police said car thefts are down. but in the past seven days 21 cars have been reported stolen in san leandro. the most popular model cars that these are targeting police say are honda civics and honda accords. police say thieves may feel more comfortable with honda's ignition system leading to one reason they are often targeted. so far, seven arrests have been made this week in connection with some of the test.
