george. >>george: an accident on 6800 main street in the southbound direction was just reported. this is a troublesome area. with an accident derrick could jam things up. so far conditions look good. initial reports indicated it may be a minor crash. at the bay bridge, the westbound ride just starting to back up. metering lights. >>darya: 601 right now. what are the odds of this. new this morning. power has been restored to thousands of customers in the north bay after a car accident caused a major power outage. the outage also affected the new graton casino. that's where we find kron four's jackie sissel who has an update for us. >>: the $800 million casino hasn't even been opened a week and last night they were one of 3600 pg&e

customers who lost power. no doubt the biggest of those pg&e customers. it came as a surprise for all the people in the casino when the power and the lights went out. this all started from a simple car accident. here's video from last night. pg&e says around 11:00 last night, feast of the casino and running in a park on golf course drive a car slammed into a power pole knocking power out to about 3600 pg&e customers. obviously none other than the brand newjackie-- people at the casino and resort. here's a video when the lights went out at the great in the casino. leaving hundreds of the gamblers to wonder what was going on inside the casino. we had a chance to talk to some of the people who work and there during a power outage and they talked about some of the confusion that was

was charged with resisting arrest in vehicle code violations. those charges were dropped. on the peninsula, the woman accused of driving drunk and nd killing a bay area couple has pleaded not guilty to all charges. prosecutors say marjorie reitzell had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit when she hit kamal and balbir singh. the crash happened as the menlo park couple was out walking their dog last month. reitzell remains in custody on $2 million bail. a man accused of murdering his daughter's mother is being ordered to stand trial. a judge ruled there is enough evidence to have

randy alana stand trial. he is charged with strangling standard code in august. her body was found in vacaville five days after she was reported missing bridge " was a federal investigator for the sacramento branch of the federal public defender's office.

charges. in connection with a search of his san jose home last summer. smith appeared in santa clara county superior court and his case was continued to january, after the regular football season is over. smith's attorney says, his client will plead not guilty to three felony counts of possessing assault weapons which are illegal in california. smith answered no questions, but his attorney and the prosecutor in the case. made brief statements afterwards.

the weapons were discovered by sheriff's deputies, after smith hosted a house party last summer, during which he was stabbed and two party goers shot. by gang- members who crashed the party. smith also faces a misdemeanor driving under the influence charge from september. that case too is continued until january.

'50s. focusing on afternoon highs. let's take a look at conditions in your neighborhood. 72 for the alternate valley. take a look at livermore, 76 on tap for today. should be 66 for this time of year. mid-60s through the san ramon valley. fix flow to mid-70s north of the golden gate bridge and 62 degrees if you're heading to ocean beach. we do have some changes on the horizon at curry at the national weather service has not ruled out a red flag warning so that something we will continue to monitor. looking at a 10% chance for showers for saturday. temperatures will drop into the weekend but we will see a slight rebound as we head into monday and tuesday. >>george: there was an accident on 683 and minor

old eastern span of the bay bridge will be getting under way today. kron4's mike pelton is live on here by buena island with more keeping an eye. >>: 7:00 is when caltrans crews will enter their second day of demolition on the old eastern span. he might even see that if you're driving on the new stand this morning. this marks the first time since the news that opened back in september that crows are starting to rip apart that old east span. here's the scene yesterday. you can see have the equipment out on the old spanish. judge-span. crews will first work to move the cantilevered truck of the span. they will remove its 1,400 ft. section of up to the bridge. that will allow crews descend on the bottom and that trade a lot of that work will take place over the next six weeks average officials say this really is a step-by-
