fire started and that call was made. a large fire in flames and you concede from this video they stated that they had to make a rescue from the second story balcony. the% was rescued and apparently is in good conditions. as far as the fire, there was a firefighter who was hurt and he has none left brain injuries. what is being said is that one person is in custody due to the suspicious fire. they have directed this to the alameda police department as far as why and obviously, right now, we're trying to figure out why this is a suspicious. i had a chance to talk to the fire department to describe what happens. >> upon arrival the person-

to-we found a male adult on a balcony and we made a rescue. he was heavily involved in flames. he is safe and he is down away from fire. currently there is one injury which is not life-threatening. we believe that he has been transported to a hospital. the alameda police department currently has one person in custody who is a personal interest. >> we're being told-as we have not been able to confirm this but according to the fire department there stating that the person who was rescued may also be the same person who is in custody. as i stated, this is a four unit apartment complex. at least seven people are displaced. you can see the american red cross is out here and at

least four of these people will need housing. this is very early and this is a very dangerous situation. the good nils is that no one was hurt, only this one firefighter had minor injuries. obviously we will stay on this story and tried to talk to the police department to find out who this person is and why they believe this fire is suspicious. >> the teenager who was set on fire while coming home one and ac transit bus earlier this month will be going home from the hospital soon. sasha fleischman will

as food banks are falling short of supplies. these are the current numbers. the san francisco and marin food banks are still short, they still need 800 turkeys. while the alameda county food bank is in need of 4,000 turkeys, hams and chickens. >> volunteers at monument crisis center in concord are hoping there will be enough turkeys to feed the needy they don't have to turn anyone away. between monday and tuesday, more than five hundred families stood in line to get a turkey. and its not just turkeys that are running low. >> we have seen such a rush. >> organizers say there are less than one hundred turkeys left. and they are certain they will be gone in no time. >> the time is 6:12 a.m.. coming up on the kron4 morning nils. how the supreme court is now weighing in on employers who want to restrict their workers' health insurance based on their religious beliefs. >> here's a live look
