stanwell drive, near concord avenue and you can fill the airports. kron4 has a crew on scene and we are working to find out more. the mother of a missing 15 year old from san jose is making a desparate plea to those who took her daughter to bring her home. jasmine armendariz went missing friday night after her mother valerie ruiz dropped her and a friend off at christmas in the park around eight. her friend says she turned around and jasmine was gone. ruiz is very worried jasmine has seizures and is in desperate need of medication. her mother says this is very out of character for jasmine. please come home. whoever has her please come home- judge please bring her home. she needs her madison. please.

the sonoma county district attorney's office has not determined yet, if the deputy who killed andy lopez will face any criminal charges. happening right now.fire crews are battling a four- alarm fire in concord. here are some photos we have gotten into our newsroom. officials say the blaze is in a structure on stanwell drive, near concord avenue and buchanan field airport. kron 4 has a crew on scene and we are working to find the national transportation safety board will be holding a hearing today concerning the asiana crash at san francisco international that killed three people in july. an asiana chief pilot is slated to testify on what the airline teaches about automated systems and visual approach procedures. that's a focus for the safety board, which has questioned whether the three men in the cockpit were overly reliant on

electronic systems during the july crash. san francisco fire department assistant deputy chief dale carnes is also scheduled to talk about how a fire truck ran over a survivor on the tarmac. a fiery gas leak in oakland forced some residents to evacuate their homes yesterday. this was near the intersection of golf links road and fontaine street. the fire started whan an underground pipeline ruptured six feet below the surface around 8:30 in the morning. since water has the potential of spreading a gas fireoakland fire fighters were forced to stand on the sidelines watching pg&e crews work on capping the leak much lower gas pressure per square inch equals much less danger of a major explosion like the deadly incident in san bruno.

no one was injured during the incident. six homes closest to the gas it took about 3-hours for the cause is still being investigated. problems for the needy and homeless in the city of hayward are being uncovered following the death of a homeless man sunday night. kron 4 found that there are no shelters for homeless men, and there are only two places needy people can go to get a meal. somethat's because in october, the hayward city council tightened its regulations. making it more difficult for groups to serve food on city owned property.

two days stranded in the snow are in fairly good condition. rescuers finally found them in the frigid mountains of nevada, tuesday afternoon. andrew spencer reports. after two days stranded in the wilderness rescuers began to lose hope that the family had survived. then i was expecting the worst. and i came around the corner and counted six of them standing there nice and warm. >>: the driver lost control sunday agreed this deep softly overturning as it slid down an embankment. >>: the father jump into action so his family could stay warm grid the first thing she did was build a fire. >>: j. glantz and his girlfriend but decided to go play in the snow with their two kids and their niece and nephew. bundle up and ready for the cold their heavy winter clothes may have helped to save their lives. >>: they have some exposure and dehydration issues but

kron4's jackie sizzle is live and concord investigating a fire that took place. jackie what do you have to say. >>: you get a better sense of how big this is and how much smoke this fire is emanating bridge this fire started around 1230 this morning. that's when the contra costa county fire department got a call. in telecommunications building. basically, it's a company that puts and commercial telecom systems. they store their stuff there and recycled material there. they discovered there was a huge fire. immediately went to second and third and four alarms. basically, the whole time they've spent standing back fighting this fire from a distance because they

are concerned about the fire fighters' safety we had a chance to talk with robert marshall the public affirmation officer with the contra costa county fire and he talks about how they are fighting the fire but also about public safety about what burning inside that building. >>: it's been a defensive fight to the whole time because of how far against the fire was. we went defensive very early there are portions of the building that have collapsed and others that are in danger of collapsing there's not a lot of residential neighborhoods that are very close here. a fairly industrial area. if anybody a sensitive to the smoke we ask that the shelter in place but there's no official shelter place an order. >>: i can tell you firsthand that when you come out here there is a have the heavy smell of plastic and electronic time burning out here. we are very close to buchanan field for it not sure if that is affecting

yesterday. you can see police are arresting one protester, who was anchor that the deputy was shot and killed-the deputy who shot and killed a sonoma county team was allowed to return to work on tuesday. in october, deputy erik gelhaus shot and killed 13 year-old andy lopez when he mistook the teens replica gun for a real ak-47. about 100 protesters banked on the windows, outside the jail and killed a white crosses and chanted loudly. the prosecutors moved there to demand the release of two protesters who were taken into custody. this is a window that the protesters broke at the jail. the sonoma county district attorney's office has not determined yet if the deputy who killed in the lopez will face any criminal charges. >>mark: a very happy ending to the story of a family who had been missing in northern
