around the bay shows warmer weather continuing into tomorrow although temperatures will drop off. most locations will be above freezing. we will continue with mostly sunny skies as we head into wednesday morning but the afternoon will see the clouds increase. >> as for travel or around the bay we have a few majominor incidents. you are good to go if you are taking the bay bridge. the traffic is slow from all of the hour approaches. the san mateo bridges and very good shape. .as we take it over to the traffic maps south bond 880 in oakland there is an

accident involving two vehicles. a tow truck is headed to the scene. we're seeing the first signs of slowing, the yellow was indicating the speeds up 35 to 40 mi. per hour. certainly allow yourself extra time. this should be cleared shortly. >> the 13 year old girl who went into oakland's children's hosptial to get her tonsils out. is now on kron4's maureen kelly spoke to the girl's family - still grappling with how a routine surgery could take such a terrible turn. >> i love my daughter. she does not deserve this. >> her mother choked back tears as she described what happened to her daughter. you can see the 13 year-old in this picture when her

hospital gown. she had had surgery to remove her tonsils. her family stated that after the family she seemed fine but later when they returned, something was wrong. >> she was spitting up blood. i asked the doctor is this was normal. they told me yes, the blood was so much that it's started coming out of hurt nose. it was all over hurt clothes and her face. >> her grandmother who is a surgical nurse came out to help and she stated that the blood just kept coming and 2 1/2 hours later, the teenager went into cardiac arrest. >> there is no way that this could be happening. the next thing that i knew--everyone is running around crazy. i

did not understand why it had to go to this point. >> the family stated that she was brain dead. the hospital stated that they are sad that this has happened to her. they stated that this case is under review. they stated at this point they do not know and that a surgery could appear routine but it may be a complicating factor is that they did not know about. >> the family is left to struggle with what they have to do. they stated that their rush to take her off a life-support. >> i believe in god, i believe that he can occur up. >> this is a decision that they would have to make with their doctor but as far, they have not made that decision. >> they stated that will

keeper on life-support as long as she has a topopulse, >> 16-year-old clifton chatman has been identified as the person killed in the francisco. another man in his late teens or early twenties is police say they are looking into the possiblity that this was a robbery gone wrong. police say it's unclear if chatman and the other shooting victim were together or even knew each other. no suspects have been arrested. this area is known for gang- activity and police have surveillance cameras monitoring the area. so.it's possible that the shooting was caught on video. if you saw anything, call police immediately. >> a 2.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded near the geysers in sonoma county last night. the u.s. geological survey says it happened around 9:55 about 2 miles east
