through, she was in bed talking to her family and then something went wrong, she started to bleed from her mouth. she had a heart attack. she has been unconscious ever since. the family finally convinced the hospital to do a brain scan. the brain scan came back and show that she was brain dead. the family hired an attorney and it came back with a letter stating that they should not take our awful lot support. >> what will happen to 1 1/2 hours is that they have to go court and so will the hospital administrators. they will each have to give their side. i spoke with family members and this is what they had to say. >> they just keep saying that getting a second opinion is unusual for a dead person. >> they just referred to her as a day. they did not even want to use her name. the

only word that they used for her is dead. i asked them, i just want her to live a couple more days. >> that man looked as in the face and told us that she is dead, dead, dead, dead. >> the family would like to keep her alive to the christmas holiday. the mother stated that she did not want to associate christmas with the death of her daughter. >> the hospital never went before camera, they stated that want to talk so badly so they can get their part of the story across. the family would not allow them to, legally, they have to fall this. >> so many people want to know what happens with this surgery. >> there is a lot still

investors are hoping the stock market will rally after a slight pause yesterday. when indexes ended up where they started. >> the u.s. economy grew a lot more than expected in the third quarter. in the july through september quarter, the economy grew at a 4.1% rate. consumer spending seems to be fueling some of this growth. black berry is reporting a mass of $4.4 billion loss in their third quarter and a 56% drop in revenue. >> here's a look at yesterday's closing numbers. the dow added 11. the nasdaq lost 11. and the s and p 500 lost one point.

airport. among those killed are the mayor of a town in the southern philippines, his wife and his niece. an 18 month old child was also killed by a stray bullet. police believe the mayor, who has reportedly survived previous assassination attempts, was the target of the attack the attack also wounded five people and caused panic among passengers caught up in the chaos. police believe a lone gunman sprayed bullets at the mayor and his entourage before fleeing on foot and being picked up by an accomplice on a motorcycle. >> the pilot of a small plane is hospitalized after crashing an tampa international airport this morning. the pilot had called in a distress call just before the crash.reporting a low engine oil light indicator. he was flying a 6-seat cessna airplane. two tampa police department officers in a helicopter heard the distress call and came to the pilot's aid after he crashed. he is now in stable condition. and the n-t-s-b is expected to begin an investigation.
