the fact their daughter has passed away there is no sign of brain activity and there has been no sign. >> reporter: she was pronounced brain dead a week ago. family members want to keep her alive and that will happen until monday. he wants both sides to agree on one of the five doctors given by the hospital today. that treatment would come on monday. there is a hope she could be evaluated on monday. and here is the response from the lawyer for the hospital. >> unfortunately, there is brain death and we're happy to cooperate that an expert be provided to confirm that brain death is the outcome that has occurred here. >> now the hospital say five doctors declared her brain dead, three from their hospital and two outside but

a woman driver lost control of her car and slammed into a home in south san jose. she was the only person injured. and this is not the first time a car has crashed into the same home in the neighborhood. the residents are fed up. >> i'm angryky barely talk about it. >> reporter: too angry and shaken, she is outraged that a car hit her house again. >> i was inside, there was a loud noise my home shook, it shook twice. >> this was the scene on friday after an accident here at the intersection of the road that sent a car through a hedge and on to the porch of her home injuring the driver.

and oakland and san francisco. 60 at half moon bay. satellite showing clear skies over the bay area. we take a wider view. there is not a lot going on over the coastal waters. we have high pressure that's dominating the forecast. and the jet stream to the north of -- north of us. they're going well to the north and up and around california. it means above average precipitation for places like eastern washington and oregon, idaho. we get below average precipitation. dry conditions and the pattern does not appear to be going anywhere for the next 7 to 10 days. that means below average rain fall for the month and possibly even for the season. the season does go through the winter so we'll hope for more.

and here at sfo on a friday before christmas, it is the busiest travel day of the season. 132,000 passengers passing through and for the most part on this friday people are having a good day of it. we're hearing of few to know delays and lines at the security checkpoint. we can tell threw are minor delays coming in from east coast destinations but a good day for traveling. keep in mind, though that the traffic does back up a little bit as you head into the arrivals area. if you are coming that way allow extra time. as we enter the last weekend before christmas, retailers across the country and here are making a big push to clear out inventory and boost their sales, places like target and kmart and wal-mart
