police were called to the 500 block of howard street where they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. he was taken to s-f general hospital. police are still searching for a gunman. a march is planned this morning for jahi mc-nath. the teen declared brain dead after having her tonsils removed.

her family is fighting to keep the 13-year-old on life support at children's hospital oakland. a judge ruled friday that jahi could not be taken off life support until an independent neurologist examined her. the hospital says the teen has been brain dead for eleven days after suffering complications during routine surgery to remove

her tonsils. family members have asked for a second opinion, and accused the hospital of being callous. an independent medical expert could examine jahi as soon as today. jahi's uncle says they will be holding a march for her this morning at 10 am, meeting in front of children's hospital oakland.

stressing safety this year after the death of a young woman last year. 19-year-old alyssa byrne of petaluma went missing last new year's eve. she was attending the snowglobe music festival in south lake tahoe but never reached her hotel a few miles away. an autopsy found she likely died of hypothermia and had drugs in her system. authorities also speculate byrne tried to walk to the hotel to avoid long shuttle bus lines. this year's festival will feature double the amount of buses and extended hours for a heated tent for those waiting for rides. just two days until christmas. and for those travelers still trying to make their way to family and friends. san francisco's international airport seems relatively calm. we're now passed the peak christmas travel days. we caught up with some fliers this weekend and

two big rig accident this morning. neither of which have turned into a hot spot in terms of their impact on freeway traffic and now we have the second one here in oakland and the 98 ave on ramp. that might be the only saving grace is that it's not right on the freeway flow on the on ramp where
