>> a spokesperson stated that they have been waiting to hear back from the family. >> despite the lack of communication he stated that he stepped up to find another place for her to go. >> the hospital stated that they would take her body. now there is questions about what will happen. >> her family's option is limited. children's hospital has left some one thing. >> we will wait to see reaction from the family. we will find out whether not the ventilator will be remote. >> one position on what

performed a medical procedure it should be a facility that will except a deceased person on a ventilator. >> the judge looked the family and i and stated that he was sorry but she is brain dead. there is unfortunately no amount of hope or prayer and that could bring her back. >> the family wants to preserve any chance that she has of recovering. the family has suffered. >> "comfort the hearts of the comfort through prayer. that was what friends and supporters hoped for jahi's family last night at an oakland church. even after a fundraiser for the teen there was canceled. the "give jahi a chance" event at the church of all faiths planned to help raise the 20-thousand dollars jahi's family believed would be needed to airlift her to another

state. but at the request of the family.the event was shut down at the last minute. since they haven't been able to solidfy plans with a long term care facility that will accept her. they are still hopeful that they'll find her a place to go before tonight's deadline. >> we believe that the life is in the blood. this mother wants to give her daughter every opportunity to live. she has faith in god and the >> but it does appear the family will have enough money to move her, if an agreement with a facility can be reached. a website created to help raise funds to keep jahi on life support surpassed it's goal of 20-thousand dollars. in just two days. again. that deadline is tonight. at 5 p-m. we'll keep following this developing story for you all day. to get the most up to date

as well as the family attorney will try to go to court to get it extended. here is a picture of her. she came a few weeks ago. everything apparently went well. she was and heard that from talking to her family. a again, something went wrong and she had a heart attack. she has been brain dead ever since. the hospital has been monitoring the situation. so far, nothing came back to show that she has a brain activity. her family still believes that she is alive. the want the court to step in to extend the time. >> the hospital wants people to know that the deadline for her to come off the ventilator is the court's

decision not theirs. i had a chance to speak with the hospital's attorney and information has came out. many people want to know what happened. this surgery has been performed to plenty of times. and they have not had this problem. here is the attorney. >> there has been a great deal of misunderstanding. we cannot discuss any thing. it was a very complex surgery, this is something that the hospital, the state, they have to make a determination about what really occurred. >> the step that seemed overwhelmed and exhausted. i wanted to know if there was

anything said and as a definite a paris court to be before a judge. he stated a he was not sure he stated that the court has to decide what to do and that nothing is concrete. unless the family can have the judge and extend the time, the hospital stated that they have no chores to remove her from the ventilator. we're out here to try to get information from the family and try to get heard above a turning. >> can they still moves occur? are they still looking for a facility to take her? >> that is a good question. over the weekend one facility in southern california stated that they would take her and then they said no. a second facility in new york said that they

would take her but according to the attorney, that is a shaky situation. we are trying to speak with them. he also stated that he spent the entire weekend calling facilities to see if that would take her. it appears that that is his job, the uncle, what ever happens according to the attorney is that that will continue to talk to facilities and possibly a third facility to take her. it appears the no facility will do it. >> we would check back with you a little later. >> would want to track your forecast. >> it is not too bed of the stars and we are at 43 degrees for livermore. we recently dropped to the
