>> new charges for the man accused of kidnapping a 7- year-old girl last week in antioch. 42-year-old david douglas. is facing several felony charges, including kidnapping and committing a forcible lewd act upon a child. the suspect is expected to be in court next week. his bail is set at seven - point- one million dollars. >> jahi mcmath has been given the feeding and breathing tubes that her family had been trying to obtain for weeks. mcmath's family attorney christopher dolan says doctors had inserted both the gastric tube and tracheostomy tube some time yesterday at an undisclosed facility where she was taken on sunday. dolan says the procedure was a success and that jahi mcmath is getting the treatment that her family believes she should have gotten 28 days ago, when doctors at children's hospital oakland first declared her brain dead. jahi underwent tonsil surgery last month and afterward began bleeding heavily before going into cardiac arrest and was declared brain dead a few days later.

ride through the east bay. we're looking at the east shore freeway and the drive time is still under 16 minutes for hercules to berkeley. a little slowing for highway 4. in san jose i mentioned of slowing on 1 01 and there is a structured fire just off the freeway. it is close to 101 at 28 and julianne two blocks away from the freeway that the smoke is what drivers are saying in the northbound direction. it doesn't count for delays on the bayshore freeway. one-on-one, southbound is easy with no delays between the golden gate bridge. >> the search continues for a sailor who's been missing since a navy helicopter with five crew members aboard crashed in the ocean off the virginia coast. two people died in the wednesday crash, which happened during a routine training mission. coast guard petty officer 1st class brandyn hill says

the coast guard searched for the missing sailor by air and sea throughout the night and has crews on scene thursday morning. hill says the navy also is scheduled to send out two helicopters to assist with the search. the navy says the two who died were among four crewmembers hoisted from the 42-degree waters wednesday by a navy helicopter and taken to a hospital. the two surviving sailors were being treated at sentara norfolk general hospital. >> president obama today is going to address ways to combat in come any quality through what he calls a " promise of zones.
