the street is likely to be close for another hour. >> police in miami beach say pop singer justin bieber has been arrested and is accused the miami beach police department confirmed 19- year-old bieber's arrest thursday morning in a tweet on its official twitter page. police say the pop star was drag racing on miami beach early thursday. officials at the miami-dade department of corrections say bieber has not yet been booked into jail. the arrest comes on the heels of another controversy for bieber. officials have said that detectives in california recently searched bieber's home looking for surveillance footage that might serve as evidence the pop star was involved in an egg-tossing vandalism case that caused thousands of dollars in damage to a neighbor's home. in that case, authorities arrested one member of bieber's entourage on suspicion of drug possession. >> an 11-year-old child has

been killed after being shot in the head. kron 4's mike pelton is at the scene with more. mike? >> this is such a sad story. the police departments that were the evidently--the 11 year-old may have shot and killed himself. the shooting took place along the 1300 block of the street. you concede this is the scene and all but emergency personnel arrived after their received a call about one gunshot being fired. oakland police officers arrived to find the 11 year- old to be suffering from a gunshot wound. they try to save him but he wound of dying. neighbors gathered and stated that they feel terrible for the family. >> he seemed like he was okay. he should not have

losses like this young days. >> this is actually a pretty quiet neighborhood. i just moved here in september and i have never seen anything like this. >> authorities are not mentioning the name of the of a child that may be involved and the shooting is under investigation. they stated that it just may have been an accident where he accidently shot themselves. >> at this point we're not sure how he got a hold of the gun but we are working to get that information. regardless of answers this is just a tragic story. >> "tommy was a great police officer but even a better son, brother father and friend." >> the latest on the bart sergeant killed in the line of duty. sgt. tom smith was shot by a fellow officer during a probation search at a dublin apartment complex on tuesday. alameda county is the lead investgating agency on this case.

>> walnut creek police are investigating at armed robbery at a kaiser permanente parking garage. three people robbed a kaiser employee at knife point last night just after 11:30. no one was injured in the robbery and the three suspects fled in a silver

is live on the scene. >> the roadway is still shut down and it has been like this for a couple of hours. if you concede the power pole that is leaning over. pg&e are out here to work on this. according to chp about 2:30 a.m. a gentleman driving southbound on mission boulevard had diabetic episode and he blacked out and struck a tree. he alternately in october this pole. pg&e was able to shut the power down but the pull still out here. . as you can see from the flare's the mission boulevard is still shut down. all this traffic that normally comes down this will have to make a u-turn. as we get closer to the commute more and more people are having to make this u- turn. the hope is that they
