one of the first boston back up. there is a stretch of the yellow on the roadway census shows speeds below 40 mi. per hour. we are seen slow and go conditions coming out of tracy. it looks like the ride is starting to improve approach in downtown livermore. >> we want to go back to our live breaking a story about dry conditions making a brush fire that is burning right now in the north bay a potentially dangerous situation. this could affect your commute. kron4 jackie sissel is live at the scene. >> near san quentin is where this is burning. according to witnesses they stated

that this was a homeless camp. this fire is burning pretty good. it is about four to 5 a. and you can see how intensely fire is burning. it is extremely dry as i pull out here. just bear with me so you could see how dry it is. the hope instead it will not spread and that is where the home depot is. it is about an acre way. i can tell you that when fire crews arrived here about 5 minutes ago they're not able to get super close to the fire at this point from this shot they're trying to get access to this fence. the hope is that it wants to get this in control and get this out
