accident has just occurred on 1 01 northbound. even though it was reported as a solo crash, it was blocking the middle lane. here is a look at that accident, just northbound of 87 of guadalupe parkway. >> developing story. two people stabbed in san francisco this morning. near the financial district. kron four's jackie sissel is live at the scene with an update. jackie? >> police investigators just cleared the scene but they're still looking for answers tried to figure out what happened to leave to people stabbed on the embarcadero. actually, these are two different scenes, two different victims. according to police their received a call about 4:00 a.m. other person stabbed at sacramento and drum. when

that went to investigate this is exactly what they found, a male victim stabbed at least twice, once in the chest with serious injuries. he was transported to a hospital and is in critical condition. but almost later, there received a another call at the embarcadero and they found a woman who was also stabbed. it is unclear if she was stabbed here or if it was at another location. they stated that the woman, who is suffering from multiple stab wounds, she is expected to survive. she is not cooperating. they stated that obviously, the gentleman who is in critical condition is an able to cooperate so they're not sure what they're looking for. >> as this investigation continues will pass it on.

>> new this morning. firefighters have controlled a house fire in west oakland. the two alarm fire started in a home on 34th street around two this morning. it was extinguished by 2:40. there were no injuries reported. >> new disturbing details in the investigation of what led up to a three-year-old's murder. friends and family have identified the child as kaylee. the little girl was found dead in her bed at the royal garden apartments after officers carried out a welfare check. that check was requested by an anonymous caller saturday afternoon. police say it's unclear how long kaylee was dead before he body was discovered. neighbors told police that kaylee's mother sara krueger and krueger's boyfriend, ryan scott-warner were seen leaving the apartment with luggage on foot about three hours before kaylee was found dead. a day later, the couple was spotted in el cerrito. >> during the initial stages, the investigators noticed blunt force trauma

on the victim and the fallout showed that she had also been sexually assaulting. >> police say both krueger and scott-warner have arrest records and a history of drug abuse. officers have also been called to their apartment before for possible domestic violence. both are charged with murder. an autopsy is scheduled for today. line >> a community vigil for kayleigh in napa. neighbors say the three year old loved dressing up as barbie and minnie mouse, and was always on her bike. the last few times the child was seen in public, they tell us she looked unhappy. >> fresh snow is bringing skiiers and snowboarders to the sierra slopes. the season started off slow and dry.but this week's storm let resorts open up more terrain. >> squaw valley opened four new lifts after ten inches of snow fell there.

was shot several times in the leg last night at a bar and was taken to the hospital. his condition has not been released. bradley claims that he lost an eye when hernandez shot him outside a club in miami last year. and boston police say bradley was with hernandez when someone inside their s- u-v shot and killed two people in 2012. no charges have been filed >> despite increased security after the shooting at sandy hook elementary school.an associate press analysis finds there's been no real reduction in the number of school shootings in the u-s. there have been at least 11 school shootings this academic year alone. this is in addition to other cases of gun violence, in school parking lots and elsewhere on campus when classes were not in session. experts say the rate of school shootings is statistically unchanged

looking for a man who tried to kidnap a 15 year-old on crutches. police say that this happened friday night in albany. the teenager was walking on jackson street when a man in a black suv tried to verbally course him into the car. police said that the victim refused and the suspect approached the team before he was hit by the team. the teen and yelled for help in the suspect tried to force in the car. the victim was able to escape. the suspect is described as a white or hispanic man. between 30 to 40 years old. hiss said to be 6 ft. tall and a medium built. >> there will be 22 million
