>> pam: this morning to see how much rain fell. it looks like more than an inch of water was collected. >> pam: continuing our team coverage now from the santa cruz mountains. the first of of back-to-back storms wasn't your typical gully-washer. but as kron four's rob >> pam: fladeboe reports from boulder creek, it was welcome nonetheless. >> reporter:a light drizzle fell for much of the day here in boulder creek and elsewhere in the santa cruz mountains as somewhat normal winter weather made it's return. amid a recent ban on fishing'low flow,' the san lorenzo river was noticeably more active as a result of run off from nearby creeks and streams. there were a few, mostly minor problems on mountain roads, a few trees down here and there and a fair amount of standing water to be seen. >> reporter:rainfall totals averaged a bit more than an inch and it is a welcome sight. >> reporter:mountain residents are hoping the next storm will be stronger. >> reporter:a year ago this time, boulder creek had roughly 38 inches of rain but so far this rainy season, they'venormal year,
