>> and we will begin the hour with the check the weather and traffic. >> we are waking up to pretty clear skies. here's a live look from mount tam. we do have a few high clouds that are moving in. in terms of the temperatures right now we are seen mostly 40's. san francisco is at 49 degrees. it is very similar weather by 8:00 a.m. this morning but warmer weather is expected for the afternoon. the highs will land from the low 50's to low 60's. we are back in the '50s by 8:00 p.m.. if you do like springlike weather that is on the way and i will have a look at the seven day around the bay coming up. >> we are tracking a couple of incidents that may become hot spots so far, there are

minor. there is an accident on the nimitz freeway in the northbound direction reported that 23rd. you can see the sensors have detected the slow traffic. this is in downtown oakland on the northbound side. the slow traffic that was spotted in the south bay, 1 01, north bound is a result of an accident at oakland road. this is near 101, 880 interchange. if the back of is minor, your drive time to the montague expressway is still just 18 minutes. this is not a very bad commute and no reason to consider an alternate route. >> new clashes today between police and protestors in the ukraine. this comes as the foreign ministers of three european countries are meeting with ukraine's president. here's video out of the capital city of kiev where much of the fighting has been taking place. you can see heavy smoke coming from burning barricades. a reporter at the scene says

francisco law banning high- capacity ammunition magazines for guns. u-s district judge william alsup said he kept the ban in place in the favor of public interest. he added -quote- "more innocent lives will be saved by limiting the capacity of magazines." lawyers for a group of retired police officers fought the law. the ruling to the 9th u.s. circuit court of appeals. the ban affects magazines that hold more than 10 automatically reloading bullets. it is set to go into effect on april 7th. >> the two men charged with severely beating san francisco giants fan bryan stow at dodger stadium in 2011 are expected to be in court today. to accept a plea deal. that's according to the los angeles times. marvin norwood and louie sanchez are expected to plead guilty to charges of mayhem, assault and inflicting great bodily injury in the beating of stow. the attack left the bay area paramedic with serious head trauma, and a permanent disability. which requires lifetime care. no details on the sentence

attention. it has slowed the ride down and currently the drive time from 85 to the montague expressway is 27 minutes and it should be about 80 minutes. we are running behind schedule. the rest of the south bay freeway it actually is looking good and you can see there are no problems for 85 heading out to west valley. that is still pretty small. let's look at the bridges. at the bay bridge, the westbound ride this is starting to back up into all the lies. the san mateo bridge commute, this is still easy trip, the westbound ride is still 11 to 30 minutes. for your trip to the golden gate bridge, 1 01 southbound is still a problem free between 37 and the toll plaza. the rich december fell bridge this is a westbound commute and the head lice are heading towards the toll plaza
