other had major wounds. of the vehicle that's drop the month of hospitals left without providing any identification. >> for san francisco police officers pleaded not guilty in federal court to performing illegal searches and seizures. federal indictments allege six officers conducting illegal searches of residential hotel rooms, stow seized property and falsified police reports between 2009 and 2011. allegations surfaced on public defender jeff adachi released this surveillance video. two other officers were also been charged but did not enter pleas yesterday. the officers were recording allegedly performing the searches during broad-drug bust. all six men were all released on bond. kron4's charles clifford breaks down the toll increases. >> on april 7th golden gate bridge tolls will go up by

over night to remove an old 80 ft. wide directional sign that has been replaced by new signs. so caltrans will close the left lane from midnight until 5:00 a.m. sunday, for nearly a mile on westbound highway 24 near the tunnel in orinda. caltrans says the tunnel's third bore and westbound highway 24 in oakland from the tunnel to the northbound highway 13 connector will also be closed. eastbound traffic on highway 24 will remain open to traffic during the closures. >> groundbreaking for san jose menendez newest terminal kicked off friday. the terminal will be used mostly to a house corporate planes owned by gogol's founders. the space will be 240,000 square feet and is expected to be completed in

december of 2015. the terminal is expected to cost $82 million. the project will create construction jobs and permanent. employee positions and generate $3 million a year in tax money. >> the los angeles airport police chief says their communication system has been fixed after a glitch prevent a faster response to a government last fall. the chief says the system has been tested repeatedly since the shooting and is working properly. when the november shooting started, a screening supervisor picked up an emergency fund but no location was automatically transmitted to a dispatcher. it took 90 seconds before dispatchers knew where to send police. a woman has been placed on probation for trying to sneak through sfo and go to hawaii three times. marilyn

in world news, the pro- russian minister of ukraine's restive crimea is claiming control of all military forces, police, and other security services in the region. sergi aksenov declares that the armed forces, the national security service, and border guards will answer only to his orders. meanwhile, armed men described as russian troops took control of key airports in crimea.

russia remains quiet on claims of military intervention. yesterday president obama addressed the situation. defense secretary chuck hagel says the escalation in ukraine said quote "this could be a very dangerous situation if this continues in a provocative way." the state department says u- s citizens should put off non-essential travel plans to ukraine. president obama is also challenging congress to help him create jobs and rebuild the nation's infrastructure. in his weekly radio address, the president points to the launch of two new high-tech manufacturing companies and a competition to rebuild the nations roads, bridges, mass transit, ports and railroads. the president plans to send congress a budget next week that he says would create millions of jobs.

>> four men suspected of shooting at a car on interstate 580 thursday are in custody this morning. this video is from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news. police say, the men opened fire on a black chevy truck, with a man and little girl inside. it happened in castro valley thursday afternoon. hours after the shooting, alameda county sheriff's officers spotted the suspects. the highway patrol took them into custody. "when something like that happens on the freeway, ya know, a lot of times you think you're never gonna see that person again. and it was just great that law enforcement was able to have a level of awareness to react to that and actually bring several into custody"

seymour hoffman is in. and his death appears to have been an accident. the report found a mixture of drugs in hoffman's system. it lists heroine, cocaine and amphetamine as some of the drugs. the oscar-winning actor was found dead in his apartment back on february second. three people are facing drug charges in connection with his death. steven colbert says he has nothing to hide. that's why he gave a keynote faugh security conference if left it tougher here you see the comedian appearing at a congressional hearing in 20-10. not everyone was happy with the event. privacy activists had tried to convince colbert to not appear at the conference. for his part colbert said quote "i don't necessarily want people reading my e- mails, but i'm not a spy." a counter-conference, called trustycon, was held the day before

"when something like that happens on the freeway, ya know, a lot of times you think you're never gonna see that person again. and it was just great that law enforcement was able to have a level of awareness to react to that and actually bring several into custody" the suspects were arrested with three guns. two of which were confirmed stolen. police are not releasing their names, and won't talk about whether the guns they had were used in the shooting. no word on the motive, either. no one was injured in the shooting. hotkron 4 was the first to tell the victim. that the four had been arrested. our reporter. haaziq madyun. was interviewing the man who survived the shooting, when haaziq received a message from the c-h-p. and showed it to him. he says the shooter fired and hit his s-u-v with as many as 7- bullets.

very lucky that he and the little girl were able to escape unharmed. major crimes detectives in fairfield. have given some closure to a family whose 16-year-old girl was killed last month. they've announced the arrests of four men. in connection with the death of naomy rojas. who was shot and killed earlier this month these are the mug shots of the four men arrested. each suspect has had prior run-ins with law enforcement. police say two are gang members, the other two are gang associates. naomy's father has strong words for them. police say. naomy rojas was not the intended target.

instead, it was the teen boy she was with at the time. mission dolores park in san francisco will be undergoing a 14-month major improvement project. the project will improve and add new park facilities including new bathrooms, renovated tennis and basketball courts and more. during renovation sections of the park will be closed. the project will be completed in phases starting with the northern half of the park on march 13 through this fall. a groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 10 this morning at the park near 18th and church streets the groundbreaking for san jose mineta's newest terminal kicked off friday. the terminal will be used mostly to house corporate planes owned by google's founders.

the alameda county probation department and others participated in the checks. the oakland metropolitan chamber of commerce is welcoming its newest president and chief executive. the chamber selects barbara leslie to serve as its leader. leslie was most recently director of government affairs for at&t in alameda county. she will begin her new job in april and will succeed interim chief executive dan quigley. she will be the first woman chief executive in the chamber's chamber's where every thursday people ride 10 miles for tacos.
