don't put those umbrellas away just yet. looks like we're pretty good and the traffic center but i have been following an incident being reported by the chp right now. apparently a woman was driving eastbound if his westbound lanes. here at the bay bridge toll plaza. she went through one of the toll lanes at over 70 mi. per hour parade she crashed and she's currently blocking one of the laser to read the booklet cruiser on the scene. so check-in and all more information for that. hopefully will have something to report coming up in just a couple of minutes. the rest of the bay area looks good. here's a

that child was transported to a hospital for evaluation but was uninjured. two adults were injured when they jump to safety. the extent of their injuries aren't known. twelve residents in the building were displaced in the blaze. the cause remains under investigation another pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in downtown san francisco. it happened at van ness and golden gate, near turk around 9-15 last night.

police say a car traveling westbound on turk hit a pedestrian. witnesses say they heard a loud bang and then saw a man lying in the middle of the street not moving. from fenoglio: -intersection of van ness and turk. -occurred just before 9:15- pm. -vehicle appeared to be traveling westbound on turk, according to witness at the scene. -witness says he "heard a loud bang." he says he then went outside his apartment and saw a white male in the street , and not moving. -witness also says that other people were shouting

at approximately 9:15 pm, san francisco police received multiple calls regarding a vehicle collision at van ness and golden gate. a taxi cab and pedestrian were involved in a collision. the cab driver remained at the scene. the pedestrian was transported to sfgh. i don't have the pedestrian's condition. traffic in the area is impacted while police conduct their investigation. we do not know the condition of the pedestrian hit. but he was taken to san francisco general hospital. but since his the accident came less than 12-hours after san francisco mayor ed lee spelled out his goals for making san francisco streets safer. effortsthe new program -- called walk-first -- will

and waving it around. there is a person in the store, but the face is blurred out, the alledged robber - the fires one shot into the air. he then points the gun back and forth and leaves. two men are now under arrest but 25 year old jesus escobar. 22 year old angel rodriguez-leon. both of san jose. they are accused of 20 armed robberies at various liquor stores and small markets in san jose from the willow glen to berryessa areas the crimes happened between late december 2013 and late february 2014. police tell us the handgun used in the robberies was stolen in a residential

a warm welcome home for some bay area soldiers back from war. see their reunions with family. retail chain store sally's beauty supply says. it may have been the victim of a data breach. about two weeks ago, sally's was alerted to unusual activity on its software. it turns out. cards used within the last 10 -days or so, at the store. were among a batch purchased by a bank. monitoring cyber crime. in the batch of around 280- thousand stolen credit and debit cards --- 15 of them had been used at one sally store.

where the vehicle ultimately slammed into a center divider. here's a look from the scene were kron4's jacki cecil arise before the chp had a chance to completely wrapped things up. jacki tell us what happened here. >>: it's a crazy story. as you said a driver driving the wrong quite made it about 7 mi. down 880 before ultimately crashing. according to the chp they say that this driver made it from the toll plaza all the way up 880 going southbound in the northbound direction. it's unbelievable that no one was hurt. crash ultimately . as you have that circled right there. that's the key rail. now the driver did sustain injuries. not life threatening. apparently according to chp they said a broken leg. it's unclear exactly why the driver did what they did. chp obviously will continue the investigation to see if alcohol or drugs played a
