bancroft middle school. kron four's haaziq madyun went to the scene of the crime.and talked to someone who says he saw the whole thing happen. >> reporter:it was a scary situation for several bancroft middle school students here at this shell gas station. a stranger commits lewd acts toward multiple students right across the street from the school. >>"he was grabbing the kid" >> reporter:elias hernandez was working at the san leandro gas station around 8:20am wednesday morning. he says the man parked his vehicle at pump number 1 and came inside to pay for gas and as he was leaving several students were waiting outside this doorthat is when it happened >>"he tried to kiss the kid, the student from the schoolthis guy is crazy he tried to kiss this kid" >> reporter:the students were able to fight off the molester. then they informed school adminsitrators, who reported the crime to san leandro police >>"start working on the case" >> reporter:within hours a man walked into the station turning >>"an arrest has been made" >> reporter:police are not releasing the suspects name at this time as investigators are checking to see if the suspect is connected to similar crimes
