this complaint. they stated that he traded political favors in return for thousands of dollars for campaign donations. he also use this money to raise for his running for secretary of state. he dealt with day undercover fbi agent, he was released on bail and his attorney briefly spoke to us last night. >> my job was to get him released, i was able to accomplish that in the future will hold a lot of work, but that is it for today. >> this criminal complaint stated that many years, one against the senator is that back in 2012 he agreed to make a call with the department of health under consideration for a client that was on the cover for

the fbi. he would receive a 10,000 campaign contribution and they said that he did make that call. here is facing charges of conspiracy and to illegally import fire arms in addition of six counts of defrauding citizens. he is due back in court on monday. >> continuting our team coverage now of the corruption case. kron 4's will tran is live in front of the federal courhouse. he has more on two other people being charged in this case. one is chinatown gangster raymond "shrimp boy" chow. and the other is political consultant keith jackson. lined these two are still in federal custody. obviously, he was the key arrests but there are others including 24 other suspects. i will show you a picture of bremen. for the past 10 years, he has been crafting this image that he was a changed man, he was a federal prison for eight

years on gun trafficking charges. gun related charges. he was released in 2003 and they stated that he convinced many respected lawmakers including the mayor as well as the u.s. ministe sinister feinstein thate was changed. there arrested him on multiple charges trying to launder money to undercover agents between march 2011 and december 2013. if you're talking about three months ago when it ended. most of the suspects are linked to the chinatown brothers association. they stated that chow runs this. >> keith jackson, he was the top education man in san francisco, the president of the border education. he was arrested, accused of conspiracy to guns and

trafficking, a scheme for murder for hire, he was a close associate of chow and yee. they accused him of trying to solicit money from undercover agents. even though, he no longer was eligible, after he lost towards him for the mayoral election back in 2012. there were both tried to solicit money. also, this goes into what people have claimed that for years that he is a paid to play politician and that if you give him money, he will do anything for you. >> coming up 6:30 a.m. i will get reaction from city hall as well as sacramento. they had no idea what was going on and so does they found out, they dropped their jaws. is said this is sadness, shot, and they're angry. >> the f-b-i was all over northern california yesterday. 28 search warrants were served.

still missing this morning in oso, washington at the scene of that deadly landslide from nearly a week ago. search crews just found another body in the debris overnight. that brings the number bodies found to 25 with 90 still missing. authorities have acknowledged they might have to leave some victims buried in the debris because the search area, a square mile, is so large and the ground remains unstable. >> new this morning. a thai satellite has spotted what looks like 300 floating objects in the southern indian ocean. the objects are "potentially linked" to missing malaysian airlines flight 370. however, bad weather forced an aerial search of the area to be called off today. a u-s official says air teams have been "beaten up" by the severe weather. and visibility is almost zero. >> we have more local mills

1 through devil's slide re- opens today as a coastal trail. the devil's slide trail becomes the newest leg of the california coastal trail. a series of trails stretching along the length of the state. the new trail will be open hikers, bikers and horse back riders. the area features a parking lot, restroom facilities, and a number of benches allowing visitors to sit and enjoy the spectacular views. >> the end of spring training is here. tonight at 7:15 the giants and a's kick off the spring bay bridge series. the three game series will be the final warm up matches before opening day on sunday. the teams will play a pair of games today and tomorrow at at&t park. then close out the spring in oakland on saturday. >> the lawyer hired by gov. chris christie to review a traffic-blocking scandal that has engulfed christie's administration will release his findings. randy mastro has scheduled a news conference thursday to deliver the results.

the new york times reported the review clears christie of involvement in the plot to block traffic in fort lee, a town at the base of the george washington bridge, apparently to punish a local mayor who didn't endorse christie. the scandal has overshadowed the republican governor, a potential 2016 presidential candidate. >> firefighters in boston said that they have never seen a fire travel so fast and escalate so quickly. right now, they are mourning the loss of two of their colleagues after a fire whipped through a brown stone entrap them in the basement. more than a dozen other firefighters or injured in the blaze, which reached nine alarms in boston's back bay district. >> contractors to work at lax are being blamed for stilling baggage and the case goes farther than just the airport. police serve

>> welcome back. a north carolina mayor is facing corruption charges has now resigned. if charlotte mayor patrick cannon was arrested yesterday and accused of accepting more than $48,000 in bribes from undercover fbi agents posing as businessmen wanted to do work for the city. it was a stunning fall for cannon, who had risen from the city's housing projects to become successful businessman and politician. >> president obama has met with pope france is at the vatican today. the two were scheduled to meet for 30 minutes but their private discussion lasted nearly an hour. the president

waking up a free man this morning but under a cloud of federal charges. mike pelton is in front of his home and get a reaction from neighbors. >> he arrived home late last night after he was in court rains. his name appears in a 137 criminal complaint. he is also running for secretary of state. he did not state any thing to us. he just went inside. here is one of 26 people who are named in the complaint he handed over his passport to authorities. fbi officials stated that he exchanged favors for campaign contributions. they stated that he facilitated a gun deal. this stated that he was actually doing business

>> welcome back. a large funnel cloud was spotted over roseville yesterday. several homes and the city were damaged in the storm. no one was hurt, but several residents were displaced from their homes. the national weather service will send teams to the area thursday to determine if there was a tornado. >> the time is 6:44 a.m..

there is no rain at this point. the line the rain is so small and minor it is almost as if someone set out here and that's that's a very isolated bits and pieces of wet weather. >> here's a close look, the only thing that we are seen as a little bit of rain to apollo. on the peninsula from daly city just light rain. we have a little bit heading towards alameda. we have san ramon and dublin see light rain but it will not last long. this system is pushing out. hayward is seeing light rain at the moment. walnut creek has just a little bit at the 680, highway 24 exchange.
