little damage ahead out to workers school. by 12:00 partial clearing. i think will see more sunshine compared to yesterday. despite the possibility of north bay sprinkles i think will see some skies later today and temperatures climbing into 60s. a satellite and radar you can see some showers moving through the area. if we still have a few lingering showers and the sierra nevada. we are going to attract another frontal system that's going to slide into the bay area later on today. that will bring some light rain to the north bay by tonight and heavy rain by the rest of the bay area as we went up on saturday morning. we have another call from heading our way. this all set to arrive on monday. don't put troubles away just yet. the definitely need them as for temperatures. 68 and

great accident. we are accountable/that hundred most of all we are deeply sorry. we have more work to do and we intend to do it right. other neighbors i talked to said they are very glad to see this but they say nothing will bring back the eight lines that were lost here. reporting in san bruno scott rates kron4 news. now to the developing case surrounding state senator leland yee. he will find out this morning whether he will be suspended as a state senator. u-s senators barbara boxer and dianne feinstein, state senate leader darryl steinberg and state senator mark leno have all called for yee to resign. leno says the state senate will talk things over at 9 o'clock, then vote on whether to suspend yee.

port of oakland board of port commissioners. the port has entered into an exclusie negotiating agreement with oakland waterfront ballpark, llc. mike ghielmetti is part of the group of local business leaders who want to transform the howard terminal near jack london square from this to this. a waterfront ballpark that ghielmetti says down the road could keep the a's and possibly even the raiders in oakland. board president, ces butner, says the agreement will expire next february.

during that time, the llc has the exclusive right to sit down with community stakeholders. to come up with a plan to build the ballpark. jorge leon says he's a diehard a's fan and hopes this agreement draws the attention of the a's front office. as part of the agreement. the llc will give the port a 100-thousand dollar deposit. half of which will be refunded if nothing materializes by the end of the agreement. at the port of oakland, phlippe djegal, kron four news. not to be outdone, the giants are making changes to a-t-and-t park. this new "club" at the

pistorius says he shot reeva steenkamp by accident, mistaking her for an intruder in his home. prosecutors say he killed her after an argument. an unexpected and sudden development this morning in the oscar pistorius murder trial. immediately after court convened, the judge sent everyone home and postponed the trial until april seventh. court officials say an assessor who must be present for the trial is hospitalized. pistorius was expected to take the stand today, to testify in the first day of his defense. the former olympic athelete is accused of murder in the shooting death of girlfriend reeva steenkamp. just days after twitter was restored in turkey, the country has now blocked

youtube. the block comes after turkey alleges that high level security talks regarding syria were upload to the site. preliminary local polls will helod this weekend that will indicate the future of the current government. a new government study reveals a big jump in the number of u-s children with autism. the number jumped 30 percent from 2008 to 20-10. one in 68 children in america had autism in 20- 10.

other findings -- autism is five times more common in boys. and the study reveals. caucasian children are more likely to be diagnosed than african american or hispanic children. anti-anxiety drugs and sleeping pills are linked to an increase risk of death. a recent study by the b-m-j found that people who took the drugs had more than double the risk of dying. the researchers accounted for the use of other prescribed drugs, age, smoking, alcohol use and other health and behavioral characteristics. most important, the investigators also controlled for sleep disorders, anxiety disorders and other psychiatric illnesses, all of which are risk factors for mortality. a teen is recovering in the

about education equity, about bridging the achievement gap for african american and latino students, and, so, i remember him as a person who was trying to serve his community, so, with that in mind, i was very disappointed. and, lealand was someone who had the reputation that he was the go to person if you needed someone who was coragious who would stand up for the underdog. she calls the charges "appalling." political advocates in san francisco's asian community are concerned that the case will discourage asian- americans from voting. they say the scandal could lead to distrust in the community. and a backlash against government involvement. they also say it's already tough to get voters to turn out. lee says he hopes this won't discourage people who are thinking about getting into politics. we'll continue to follow the developments online.

morning news. hefty fines. harsh criticism. and now. *charges that could make the san bruno pipeline explosion a criminal act -- with pg&e at fault. and the actions this morning that could get disgraced state senator leland yee booted from the senate floor -- for good. we want to start with breaking news. a patrol planes finding evidence and the search area. >>: up the search plane spotted something in the water. until now object of only been found during a satellite. we began searching in this area based on new data that suggests the plane flew faster than originally thought agreed that they rebuilt the plane burning up more fuel than originally anticipated and that is the total travel time of the flight was short and they're now searching further to the north. the ship heading to the area to determine if crews see what they believe.

official announcement is expected later this morning. the child's body was found yesterday in the mud and debris. that brings the official number of people killed to 17 even though at least 26 people are known to have died in the mud slide nine of the bodies have been located but not recovered. 90 people are still missing. at this point again is the only method be used to try and find them. emergency workers have stopped going door-to-door and hopes of locating people who haven't checked in yet. nine more bay area red cross volunteers are heading to washington state to provide disaster relief. the volunteers are offering good-food and basic health services and comfort to good-food and basic health servi[ male announcer ] this is jim a man who doesn't stand still. but jim has afib atrial fibrillation an irregular heartbeat not caused by a heart valve problem.
