what a treat exploded when lightning hit. the flying debris shattered windows and left cars with severe damage. luckily there were no injuries. in sausalito - lightning hit a tree that was touching the deck of a home early monday afternoon. the energy from the strike transferred to the home on spencer ave. blowing out several large windows and sliding glass doors. fire officials say the deck exploded and glass and bark were scattered throughout the inside of the house new this morning >>darya:parents at an oakland elementary school are on edge after a six year old girl was sexually assaulted. this is a map showing where the assualt happened. it happened on east-28th street and 10th avenue. that's less than a block from bella vista elementary school. kron 's will tran is in front of the school this morning with details of the assault. will will darya, the school is right behind me and they still don't know how the six year-old managed to go with no one watching. schools

should have been in session on friday afternoon. someone should have known about it. according to the police department, there was a man who bore the the 60 off campus. apparently, sexually assaulting her and consulted her according to the police department. somehow, she manages to get away and comes back to the school to alert the administrators. the administrators called the police department but by then, he was long gone. the police department will talked to administrators today. they did not get a chance to yesterday because yesterday was a holiday. once the talk to the administrators they will talk to themselves and said the word out to the parents. the administrators of course are saddened and shocked. they will review their policy to see why this lack of security happened for the six year-old girl to go off campus. never mind, she was allegedly sexually assaulted, she it easily could have been killed with cars coming and going on a constant basis. the police department is still

his client. -offssuspended state senator fad leland yee refused to speak to reporters after leaving court yesterday but his attorney raised questions as to why the investigation into his client took so long attorney paul demeester says he has concerns that the feds didn't have much confidence in their case which early on focussed on allegations yee traded political favors for cash. developing tonight. leland yee's attorney is questioning the government's case against his client. he raised concerns after yee was in court today - to talk about his half-million dollar bond. leland yee remains free on a 500-thousand dollar unsecured bond, and cause discussions are underway to determine which of yee's s properties will be put up as collateral to make sure he keeps showing up to court. yee's next court hearing is next tuesday. yee's acquaintance raymond "shrimp boy" chow, - also named in the case. was also in court yesterday.

a texas woman is on trial for murder. accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death with her stiletto heel. investigators say ana trujillo struck 59-year-old alf stefan andersson at with her shoe during an argument at his condo last june. witnesses said the 45-year- old trujillo had a temper and was out of control the night of andersson's death. they described andersson as quiet and mild-mannered. but trujillo's defense attorney told jurors andersson had repeatedly abused trujillo, and that on the night of the slaying she used the shoe to defend herself from one of his attacks. online home rental service air b-n-b has agreed pay san francisco's 14 percent hotel tax. under the plan, air b-n-b would collect taxes directly from guests as an extra charge on their bill - the same way hotels do. the rental service connects travelers with people renting out their homes, says it will begin remitting taxes to the city by the summer. out of the 32,000 cities worldwide where air b-n-b operates, san francisco and
