>> pam: >> gary: >> reporter:right now search teams are looking for a snowboarder who went missing in the sierra. 25-year-old abraham finkelstein was with his dad yesterday.when they were separated. >> reporter:officials say finklestein was snowboarding in the back-country north of donner pass and boreal ski resort late yesterday afternoon when his dad lost sight of him. it was snowing hard.there were white out conditions at the time. but searchers are hopeful, because finklestein is said to be an avid outdoorsman who was dressed warmly. >> reporter: and a missing runner.has been found.two days after he went missing. the 55 year old was trail running in placer county. he was found alive this afternoon.and told rescuers he stayed warm at night in snowy conditions by curling up into a ball. >> reporter: >> pam: and the rain already causing some problems. this is video from the great

>> pam: meantime -- more than two dozen other people were also named in f-b-i documents. another one of the key players in the f-b-i sting was back in court today. political consultant keith jackson is accused of drug and firearm crimes and facilitating a murder for hire. as kron 4's dan kerman reports his attorney says his client is innocent. >> reporter:inside the federal courthouse tuesday, attorneys for keith jackson were before a federal judge arguing he be released pending trial? but prosecutors opposed the idea calling jackson a one man crime wave who both a danger to the community and a flight risk. >> reporter:prosecutors allege jackson, a campaign consultant for suspended state senator leland yee solicited drugs from an undercover agent, conspired with yee to traffic in firearms, and facilitated a murder for hire. >> reporter:but jackson?s attorney questioned how the fbi conducted its investigation? and said jackson has a history, not of facilitating crime but facilitating the improvement of the city of san francisco.

"i ran out to my car and right to arms of this man, and we were in the middle of the street just, like, hugging. we were so scared. and then, it stopped. and then, he invited me to his house. and then, there was an aftershock. and then, we were hugging again with his wife." >> reporter:more than 100 aftershocks hit the region, including a magnitude 4- point-1 that struck saturday afternoon. the quake centered around 25 miles south of downtown los angeles on the puente hills fault -- one seismologists has been closely watching. >>"when we have an earthquake, a big earthquake, on the puente hills, the strong shaking is gonna be downtown los angeles, hollywood, east la, and we're going to see a much, much higher level of damage." >> reporter:while no injuries were reported and damage mostly minor, tremors were a wake-up call of what it means to live in quake country. >> reporter:california hasn't seen a major one since the 1994 northridge quake. the magnitude six-point- seven was felt as far away as las vegas. >> reporter:57 were killed, 5,000 injured; property damage estimated at 20- billion.
