police found the man with at least one gunshot wound. he's in serious condition at the hospital. right now, police do not have any suspects in custody. an early morning 3 alarm fire in san jose. its now out but it happened at a business on old bayshore highway in san jose. right by the 8-80, 101 interchange. investigators now looking into what sparked the fire. new this morning.a pedestrian is dead. hit by a car while he crossed the street. this happened around eleven last night in front of the mcdonalds on van ness avenue in san francisco.

police say the driver cooperated with police after the crash.has a clean record and investigators say they don't suspect he was impaired. they also say it looks like the man who was hit and killed.was not using the crosswalk. while you were sleeping.vandals targeted smart cars in san francisco.causing big damage to the small cars. this is in the bernal heights neighborhood. a witness tells kron 4 this morning that he saw seven or eight men wearing hooded sweatshirts.walk up to one of the smartcars parked on anderson street.pick it up.and stand it on end. two more smart cars were done the same way nearby.

one was rolled onto it's side.the other was found completely turned over.tires to the sky. authorities are warning it will take time to confirm if the latest underwater sounds detected in the indian ocean are signals belonging to the missing malaysia airlines flight. at least some of the sounds are consistent with pings from aircraft black boxes. the batteries in the black boxes run out after about 30 days, and the plane vanished march 8, so searchers are in a race against time to locate the devices. we have an update this morning on the condition of that gravely injured baby girl rescued from a boat in the middle of the ocean.her family says she's improving. one-year-old baby lyra is now in the hands of naval doctors aboard the u-s-s

vandegrift. after her rescue by the national guard. they parachuted into the water near her family's boat thursday night. the crew stabilized the girl on the small sailboat. then transferred the entire family onto the vandegrift yesterday morning. right now, lyra is in stable condition, but if things change a plan is in place to get her to a hospital quickly. a baby girl. gravely ill and in the middle of the ocean more than a thousand miles from home. finally on her way to a hospital tonight. one year old lyra koffman is in stable condition thanks to an elite military team from san francisco.

police say 18 year old daiki glenn minaki entered 2 homes and assaulted 3 different people. he was was on some form of narcotics when he set out on a rampage. he entered a home on the 1100 block of colorado avenue, and punched a teenager in the face before running out. then minaki attacked a woman walking her dog.
