the u.s. embassy in afghanistan tweeted, "with great sadness we confirm that three americans were killed in the attack on cure hospital". the motive for the attack is unclear. a daly city medical center is opening back up for business today. after a gunman opened fire there yesterday. this is video of the scene from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news. police are still searching for that gunman. they say a doctor reported a man having a gun. and later authorities received reports of a single shot fired near the seton medical center. staff and patients were stop swat teams surround the with their hands in the air.

young people who smoke marijuana may be putting themselves at risk for heart disease. that's the finding of a new study published in the journal of the american heart association. researchers say from 2006 to 20-10 they found 35 reports of patients who experienced heart complications after using marijuana. they also found that all but one of these patients were under the age of 50.

the chief of cardiology at georgetown university says these findings don't show the level of risk, but indicate a link between weed and heart disease. the food and drug administration is making another attempt at regulating electronic cigarettes and other tobacco products. the agency is proposing rules that call for strict regulation of electronic cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, nicotine gels, water pipe tobacco and hookahs. currently, the f-d-a only has regulatory authority over cigarettes, smokeless tobacco. the recommendations will be finalized following a 75-day public comment period. this is it greedy just to the east of the golden gate bridge. the vessel was found last year by a team goes looking for the wreckage of
