after a three day manhunt san francisco police have arrested ryan chamberlain. in this video of their arrest, you can see several officers take down chamberlain. it happened at 630 yesterday evening at christie field. one mess of holding a tells us what happened during the rest >>: he was complaining that he couldn't prove that he was hurt or stiff. apparently they finally got around and handcuffed. it did look like he was trying to get out of something out of the back seat when he was getting arrested so the passenger side door was open. >>: san francisco police bomb squad is you can see in this video war on scene. going through everything and chamberlains car to make sure it was not rigged with explosives. the scene was cleared by 9:00. the fbi and san francisco police department are holding a news conference this morning on the arrest. we will carry that live on our air at 830.

this all started saturday when federal agents came knocking on chamberlains apartment door. they searched the apartment on jackson street for more than 20 hours 3 javelin was not at home at the time. then, monday afternoon the fbi said he may have been spotted at a bar called mad dog and the fog and san francisco's war haight. the bartender said chamberlain use the atm there which alerted officials. >>: also to be off officials ryan chamberlain discounted what the fbi had been saying about him in a twitter post. in another post read an earlier in for a scheduled to go out of facebook friends that morning chamberlain talked about this appointment from his mother, a girlfriend and best friend and a lifelong battle with depression. he wrote " i got dark eyes are real dark i explored the myriad ways i could put an end to what i was going through. in quotes. he guessed that his subsequent internet searches may have led the fbi to his doorstep

increased security at some oakland elementary schools. after a little girl was attacked with a hammer. by a trusted adult at the school. lafayette elementary school in west oakland stepped up security patrols monday. officers could be seen walking the campus at nearby martin luther king junior school. police believe friday's

attack was fueled by a feud between two families with ice ties to both schools. it is unclear what is at the school district officials say, the suspect is a well volunteer at the school. and used her familiarity with the student, to set up the attack. the parent volunteer allegedly involved. is now behind bars awaiting possible charges. in san jose. the effort continues to get rid of homeless encampments.

a milpitas man convicted of plotting to attack his ex- wife will spend at least seven years in state prison. fremont police say rakesh "paul" singh paid three men

500 dollars to attack his ex-wife last february. and make it look like a robbery. she was getting in her car when she was attacked from behind with a hammer and a knife. prosecutors say singh wanted his ex-wife's face disfigured because he thought she was seeing another man.
