i'm james fletcher. contract talks between muni operators and the s-f-m-t-a are stalled. with no resolution in sight. as kron four's dan rubin reports. both sides are frustrated and the deadline to get a deal done is looming. and the main sticking points continue to be pay raises and pension contributions. police are looking for the two responsible for robbing a pleasant hill verizon wireless store on saturday. authorities say the men showed a handgun to the clerk at the store on contra costa boulevard.

police say the two then demanded cash and products from the employee. after getting that cash, they ran away. investigators say a gold colored sedan was seen in the area and may be connected to the crime. the suspects are described as men, in their mid to late twenties with average builds. one stood about 6 feet 2 inches tall and the other stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall. two suspects have been arrested in connection with a road rage shooting that

killed one man. ishere's video of the scene. it happened in san jose on may 6th. san jose residents 17-year- old fidadelfo ortiz and 23- year-old daniel reyes were arrested last month. the santa clara county d- a's office plans to

the legislation passed 55 to 24 in the assembly. and 25 to 11 in the senate. this was the last day the legislature had to meet its june 15th deadline to send a balanced budget to governor jerry brown. the final plan for the fiscal year meets brown's demands for a rainy day fund and paying down debt. surplus money will be given to programs benefiting lower income californians. mountain view dog owners are allowed to walk their pets off leash at several parks starting at the end of the month. nearly 67 percent of residents who were surveyed
