remanence of what was hurricane norbert. some of those clouds will push into the area and some of the moisture, as well. we're talking about sprinkles in monterrey, and sprinkles to the east and some locations in the south bay could see springels head tonight and -- sprinkles into tonight and morning. the marine layer is pretty stable at 2,000 feet, not of that will burn off into the latter half of the afternoon. 47 in vallejo, concord. like a mentioned, the possibility of unsettled weather tonight and pretty muggy into tomorrow. we are looking forward to a warming trend into the second half of next week. i'll have the full details coming up in my next report. in san jose, an autistic 6-year-old boy who went missing

saturday morning has been found safe. kron 4's mike pelton is live where authorities found young sergio zepeda. >> reporter: this story with a happy ending. authorities found him just over a mile from his home in san jose. san jose police got a call at about 4:13 this morning for a man living near lewis and monterrey road in a homeless camp. several people called police and those in a homeless camp gave the boy food and shelter until police arrived this morning. he's autistic and nonverbal and think he got out of the garage. police spent overnight looking for the boy and fortunately they found him, again, a little over 4:15 this morning.

authorities did transport zepeda to the hospital where he was reunited with his family this morning. >> has been to report there was a happy ending. thank you, mike. richmond police are still looking for this man wanted in connection with a bus into a house friday night. it crashed into an ac transit bus. that bus then crashed into a home. officers saw contreres fleeing the scene. this is video from our helicopter partnered with abc 7 news. the accident happened at 18th and burbick avenue. a woman and her two young daughters were inside the home when it was hit and they suffered minor injuries. eight others on the bus were us hurt. the home was severally damaged in the crash and red tagged. demolition has started on a retail building destroyed in a

fire alarm five thursday. that destroyed a retailer called big house theme, crammed with merchandise, which is now just rubble. thursday, heavy smoke powered through the mission district. the fire department is still investigating the cause. last night's crowd at the sold out mexico, chile game was the biggest to date at 67,000 people. the game ended in a tie, but many felt like they lost when it came to traffic. getting there was fine on the freeway, but once the drivers got to the stadium they hit gridlock traffic. this is not helped by a lack of signs and organizations. >> guest services didn't answer their phone. cops can't handle it because of all the fights. >> more problems came from drunk fans. parking attendants say many fans had been drinking since 2:00 in the afternoon. several people had to be escorted out of the stadium.

a crash on interstate 80 in livermore west of first street. chp says the crash happened at around 9:30 and they're still investigating what happened. a passenger killed in a deadly crash in san jose has been identified. >> reporter: the santa clara medical examiner's office is laura benwellos. the chp says the driver of a honda lost control from i 680 to highway 101. both the driver and benwellos got out of the car. the force caused her to be thrown over the retaining wall pronounced dead over the scene. a man was arrested in vallejo for allegedly stabbing a

victim to death in the north vallejo community park. jackson fled on foot and was armed with a knife who officers found him. the motive is under investigation. the victim's name has not yet been released. in richmond, police posted photos on their facebook page in attempt to shame these men arrested on a prostitution sting. it's focusing on pimps and johns who exploit vulnerable victims, some as young as 12 years old. police say they intend to use social media to spotlight the people behind what they call risky and unlawful conduct. coming up a look at your forecast. here's a live look outside from our roof camera. san francisco good morning to you. we do see some cloudy conditions, a little bit more

. a weakening hurricane norbert is moving north after creating high surf along the beaches of southern california and rainstorms across the southwest. authorities say more than 1,000 homes have been damaged and hundreds of people forced to move to higher grounds. norbert moved to a category 3, but now is a category 1 with 75 miles an hour winds. thunderstorms swept through michigan last night knocking out power to hundreds of thousands of people. in deer born heights, a church festival was in full swing. the winds toss today with several people underneath. five people were injured.

one man was in serious condition and others have minor head injuries. kalamazoo was hit the hardest. thousands of businesses were left with businesses after 50 to 60-mile an hour winds roared through neighborhoods. >> it's a mess and i'm surprised there wasn't more damage. we went several different ways. i know the back way to get home. and there was trees down all over the place. >> severe storms also ripped through chicago on friday. high winds there toppled trees and power lines, leaving at least 110,000 people without power. and there have been no reports of injuries. we're tracking our forecast here at the monsoonal moisture may make its way. here's erica to fill us in. good morning antioch. we are waking up to expensive cloud cover. temperatures very typical for this time of the year. san francisco at 50 degrees, currently in the live more

valley, i do -- livermore valley. i want to turn our attention to the hurricane moving parallel of the west baja coast here, to encinada, and weaken into cooler waters. we're looking at rip currents, high surf, and flash flooding for part of the mountains east of the l.a. here in the bay yeah, we won't see some of those effects. the subtropical moist surgoing to enter the area and -- moisture is going to enter the area and a possess but for some storms tomorrow. we could see some sprichgels in the south bay tomorrow and keep that in mind and your em-- sprinkles in the south bay and keep your umbrella handy. we'll stay mostly in the 60s heading to the 12:00-hour. these stubborn clouds will click

. in bay area sports, the san francisco giants in full throttle as they took on the detroit tigers winning eight of their last ten before saturday's game. and yesterday was certainly no let down. arias down the line. giants would score 1-0. it's not over. buster posey at the plate and the ball is deep and that ball is not playable. giants go on to win this one, 5-4, they now a game and a half behind the dodgers. if the playoffs would stop now they would take the top wild card spot. we jump over the bridge to the athletics down 3-1 with josh reddick with two men on, hits a deep shot to center field. the ball goes off the wall, two runs would score and that would

tie the game. then it's lowry, base hit, reddick rounds 3rd coming home and he scores. a's win 4-3. hopefully, that'll get this offense kick started as we get closer to the post season. certainly it was an exciting ending at the colosseum. the a's wrap up their series with houston this afternoon. in college football, a big day for bay area sports teams who start at sanford stadium and the state rivalry game sanford taking on usc, early on though it was the trojans getting on the scoreboard, they punch it in from the 2-yard line. that would put usc up 7-0. this game was a defensive battle into the fourth quarter and the fourth game tied at seven. hidare with a 53-yard field goal, that would make it 13-10 usc. sanford would have one more chance, kevin hogan drops back. he's sacked. ball comes loose and the trojans

more sunshine in the forecast. here's erica with a look. >> good morning. we are anticipating sunshine by the latter half of morning. right now, clear conditions in places like vallejo. it's actually pretty cool with temperatures up in the 40s. the rest of us in the 50s and 60s by 12:00. look for partly cloudy conditions. mid-80s anticipated for the warm and inland spots. the marine layer very stable at 2,000 feet, pretty much what we've seen the past couple mornings. in terms of low cloud cover, not as extensive along the coast. i'll have the details on the sprinkles coming up in 15 minutes some homes in yosemite

national park were evacuated friday, and is about 60% contained. 700 structures were threatened but some evacuations have been lifted. >> our priority is to take care of those structures, as well as evacuation. >> we just bought the house a year ago, so i'd hate to lose it, you know, or and of my neighbors lose their house. >> no damage has been reported and some roads in in the area have been closed -- in the area have been closed. >> it's been about a year since the rim destroyed a camp ground near yosemite. a fire destroyed all of the main buildings. a nonprofit group has been holding fund raisers. they say the money will be used for buying trees and repairing paths. they say restoration could take at least four years.

fire crews extinguished vegetation fire near 880 yesterday. here's some video a fewer sent us yesterday. officials say it started just before 4:00 near the southbound 880 off ramp near ripple road. the fire burn body one acre and was extinguished in an an hour. no injurieses -- in about an hour. no injuries were reported. the napa community is still rebuilding. officials say it caused as much as $300 million in damage. it did more than just damage to property. many people's beloved pets were also effected. now two young napa residents are getting attention for taking action. kron 4's jeff pierce shows up the old-fashioned way they set out to raise a little money. >> two young girls become inspiration for a dig donation to the nap -- big donation to

and water. full details coming up. in san jose, an autistic boy who has been missing has been found safe. kron 4's reporter is live where authorities found young sergio zepeda this morning. >> reporter: some terrifying moments for the family, but this story has a happy ending. 6-year-old sergio zepeda found this morning and he was reunited more than 19 hours after he first went missing. san jose police found hum a few miles from his -- him a few miles from his home. authorities got a call from a man in a homeless camp near lewis and monterrey road. the man told police the 6-year-old wondered into the camp. several people called police and those in the camp gave the boy food and shelter. 6-year-old zepeda went missing yesterday morning at about 9:00. he's autistic and nonverbal and his family thinks he got out through the garage. family members tell us this is

not the first time he's gone policing but it's the longest amount of time. police and sern teams spent the day -- search teams spent the day and overnight searching for him and thanks to home in the homeless camp they found hum. police do not expect foul play and the family is sending a big thank you to everyone involved in the search. richmond police are still looking for a man wanted in connection with a crash that sent a bus into a house on friday night. police say richard contreres is suspected of crashing into a home, and officers saw contreres fleeing the crash. police say the accident happened just after 5:30 at 18th street and burbock avenue. a woman and her two young daughters were in the home when it was hit and they suffered

minor injuries. eight others were also injured. the home was severely damaged from the crash and red tagged. demolition has started on a retail building destroyed in a five alarm fire thursday, housing a retailer called big house, inc. the place was crammed with merchandise which is now just rubble. heavy smoke powered through the mission district and four people went to the hospital with minor injuries and the fire department is investigating the cause. last night's crowd at the sold out mexico, chile game at levi stadium was the biggest to date at 67,000 people. the game ended in a tie, but many felt like they lost when it came to traffic. getting to the stadium was fine on the freeway, but once drivers hit the stadium, they hit

. . good morning and welcome back to kron 4 weekend. it is a mild start to your sunday morning. san francisco 61, 59 degrees in san jose. santa ross a pretty cool at 54 -- rosa, pretty cool at 54 degrees. i want to talk a little bit about hurricane norbert. it brought a heavy rain to cabo and continues to move parallel along the western baja coast here. it will bring some had isolated thunderstorms and showers here, encinada, and portions of the san diego area and in fact we are looking at the possibility of flash flooding for the mountains just east of l.a. and here in the bay area, not much of an effect. some tropical clouds will move in. we're talking about mid-and high level clouds.

to talk about the hot topics we're covering including the isis crisis and most recently, the u.s. launched air strikes on isis to protect the dam in iraq. tell us about that. >> this is i guess if you're going to say you want to so an example of what the obama strategy is, the strategy is to expand the attack against isis, and they're doing so by attacking a dam in the western part of iraq. that's significant because the president has justified our strikes on isis has protecting for example the american -- the american diplomatic mission in baghdad. it's way far away from that and there's no possibility this dam would hit baghdad. what we're saying is, okay, we're now going to use our air power to start taking the battle to isis, wherever we think we can and now we're dog it at a dam very much -- we're doing it at a dam very much as congress

. a deputy city attorney arrested for suspicion of distributing child pornography, christopher richard garcia was under investigation since last fall. authorities seized and searches garcia's computer and found evidence of child exploitation and l.a. city attorney says garcia was placed on administrative leave once the offensive became aware of the allegation. two high school boys have been arrested after police say they brought a loaded gun on to a school bus. the sheriff's office says the boys ages 15 and 17 had the gun and were trying to hide it. deputies say the 15-year-old brought the gun on the bus but gave it to the older student. the students on board started texting to their patients, their patients then alerted the school. authority -- parents then alerted the school. they held the students on the

restore it. here are the before and after pictures. tuoleme camp is run by the city of berkeley and the fire destroyed most of the structures included all of the main buildings. nonprofit groups have been raiding money for buying trees and repairing paths. they say restoration could take at least four crews. >> fire crews destroyed vegetation fires in alameda county yes. officials say it started just before four in the afternoons are near the southbound 880 off ramp near whippel road. the fire burned about one acre and was extinguished in about an hour. no injuries were reported. the napa community is still rebuilding after the devastating earthquake in a cause as much as $300 in damage. it's more than damaged property. many people's beloved pets were also effected. two napa residents are getting attention for stepping up and

one of the main celebrities a few days ago we found some of her nude photos posted online after something posted on line. how did they do that? how secure is your icloud storage now? >> definitely privacy as a different mean nothing today's connected world where much of our information is stored online. you no longer have to sift through someone's trash; all you have to do is hack into their e-mail account or other online accounts in order to grab hold of that information and in this case, it was a bit of a shared issue, one is weak passwords which are always a common issue. a lot of people put their dogs' name plus their kids birthday and combine them together, but also, you know, using some -- what's called apis, available

using icloud, in order to find my iphone, which -- >> what's an api? >> an p, i is a way in which you -- an api is a way you can access that service programatically from another system. it allows to you keep logging in very quickly using different guessed passwords. you can randomly generate those passwords without the it up cal lockout that happens if we get the -- typical lockout. if you do it without putting those security safeguardses in place, you make it a lot easier for someone to guess that password. >> what can we do to make sure that any private photos that you do store on your iphone which are stored on icloud are kept private and if you delete them will they be deleted forever or will they be out there and

people have access to them? >> first recommendation is not to store nude pictures in cloud storage sumps but more importantly, there are three -- systems, but there are three things we can do to secure our information, and ensure our privacy. the first is strong passwords. this has been an issue for many years, consumers really need to think about using strong passwords, rotating them frequently, and also using two factor authentication if it's available from that cloud service provider. the second is that you know, you really need to think about what you share and store online. the information in services like facebook can easily be used to guess our online passwords or our security questions to those passwords. and the 3rd thing is if you do have sensitive information, encrypt it before you store it

online. and hold on to those keys so that none one else can unencrypt that data. and if you do that, that means that if you have forgotten about that information, that photo or that document, inspect else can access it. it's almost as if it's deleted. it's better than being deleted because a lot of times when you click delete on an online service it's not really deleted; it just doesn't show up in that list of items but it's been copied many, membership times across that cloud sorry vis -- many, many times across that cloud service and it's still available somewhere. >> so there's really no way to get rid of a photo and to delete a photo. that footprint's always going to be there? >> i think that is a reality. somebody can find them tent, 20, thirty years30 years later.

we have to be really careful what we store online. in crypting thatencrypting that data can't really do anything with it. >> how do you go about encrusting that data? >> we provide enencryption for cloud data and many others -- encryption for cloud data is many others do, as well. you can encrypt a file by losing a desktop computer, and password that you select, and you can comment on the computer and someone else can unencrypt it. you can do it for free yourself but it's harder to manage or you can use a product in order to secure that data and high trust

authorities arrived. 6-year-old sergio zepeda went missing yesterday at about 9:00. he's autistic and nonverbal and his family thinks he got out through the garage. it's the longest amount of time. police and search teams spent the day and overnight looking for the boy. fortunately they found him early this morning. thanks to the help of those in the homeless camp, police do not suspect foul play and as you might imagine, the family is sending a big thank you to everybody involved. in san jose this morning, mike penaltion, kron 4. richmond police are still looking for a man wanted in connection with a crash that sent a bus into a house friday night. contreres is suspected of stealing a vehicle and a bus and that bus crashed into the home. officers saw contreres fleeing the area. there is from our helicopter abc

7 news. at 18th and burbick, a woman and her two young daughters were hit when it suffered minor injuries. eight others were also on the bus and they were hurt. the home was severely damaged in the crash, and was red tagged. demolition has started on a retail building destroyed in a five alarm fire thursday. that fire destroyed a building housing a retailer called big house inc.. the place was crammed with merchandise which is now just charred rubble. heavy smoke poured through the mission district. the fire department is still investigating the cause of this fire. new this morning, the coast guard is retrieving a boat that capsized off of alcatraz. of the crews say the sailboat capsized yesterday and they were able to rescue the person on board at the time and no injuries were reported. this just into the news

pretty muggy as tropical clouds mond past that we're talking about a warming trend for the rest of the week. so we will introduce those 90s back into the forecast, and that'll carry us into next weekend. i'll have the full details on that portion of the forecast coming up at 9:45. despite the extreme drought, many california homeowners don't have meters telling them how much water they're using. state officials say residents who live in areas with unmetered homes in businesses use more water every day than the state average. stay law says districts must have meeters in place by 20/25, but some say that's not soon enough. one official says showing how much you use, and being charged for what you use encourages conservation. a man in vallejo, michael jackson was arrested for murder friday night. they say the victim was stabbed

multiple times in the vallejo community park. he need on food and was arm -- fled on foot and was armed with a knight. the motive is under investigation and the victim's name has not yet been released. in richmond, 11 men were arrested for soliciting prostitution from undercover officers and police posted these photos in attempt to shame the men. the department says it's focusing on pimps and johns who exploit vulnerable victims, some as young as 12 years old. police intend to use social media behind risky and and unlawful conduct. the napa community is still rebuilding after the devastating earthquake. officials say it caused as much as $300 million in damage. it did more than damage just property. many people's beloved pets were also effected. two young napa residents are getting attention for stepping

does it get to them? >> eventually, yes. what we do is get pianos and recondition them and tune them and put them in places where people can enjoy them. >> okay. and how is the program doing? is it taking off? are people really responding? >> they're responding amazingly. before we had the pianos unloaded, we have people wanting to play and a family with twins, that as we unloaded, they helped us and told us about the musical background and how much it's meant to him and how much he wanted to pass on to him. they were out for hike and ended up playing for oh, 15, 20 minutes. >> and dean, what's the appeal of having pianos and music along with nature? >> pianos, you know, it's a 5, 6, 700-pound instrument that's in a living room and you take it out of that context and you put
