alert ferry riders about tomorrows strike. charles... >> reporter: well, today the golden gate bridge district's general manager denis mulligan said that he is disappointed that the ferry boat c and the other the other maritime unions that are supporting them.. have decided to strike on friday. in the meantime, the district is also trying to get the word out to communters that ferry service will be disrupted tomorrow. >> reporter:thursday afternoon, the bridge district was putting out fliers on ferries warning riders that all services.. including the special ferries that run back and forth to giants games... will be stopped on friday. even though district managers say they are not happy about the strike, they do admit that friday's tend to have lower ridership that other weekdays. >> reporter:also today, denis mulligan spoke to the meida here at the larkspur terminal and he flatly denied the union claims that the district has bargained in bad faith and is guilty of unfair labor practices. >> reporter:in regard to that claim by the union of unfair labor practices.. that is patently false and completely unfounded. it appears merely to be a pretext to have this one day strike at the fairy system.
