all in all, we are headed out to dry conditions this morning. we have areas of dense fog. let's take a look. visibility down to a knoll santa rosa, half a mile in the napa area. north of golden gate bridge, that's where we're seeing the dense fog. mostly sunny conditions as we head into the afternoon. it's going to be breezy. temperatures on the mild side. lots of sunshine into tomorrow with warmer weather in next week. we have rain in the forecast. it falls around halloween. giants fan brian stowe on hand before the big game yesterday as part of the pregame festivities. the giants jumped out to an early lead in the first innings, but the royals came back to take a three-run lead, but the giants offense started to pick up steam. the giants would come back in the 5th inning and tie the game

. we have a traffic alert to tell you about in san rafel. police are telling residents to avoid mission avenue due to a water main break. police say emergency water main repairs and road closures will impact traffic for the next 12 to 15 hours. it's best to avoid that area. also saying good-bye to one of their own at yesterday's funeral precession for a fallen sacramento officers. yesterday, two police officers were gunned down and killed. the shootings left two wives out their husbands and six kids without their fathers. both officers were shot to death on friday. one of the accused shooters was wheeled here into a hospital after his arrest. a man and woman were arrested in connection with the murders and a placer county officer

hundreds gathered also at a local church to offer one another support. students are still trying to make sense of the tragedy. >> he's someone no one would have expected it to happen. yesterday, at football practice, he was fine. we were talking, having a good time. today, just horrible. i don't know what went through his head or caused him to do it. >> meanwhile, a union official says a newly-hired teacher intervened during the shooting. students say the teacher intercepted fryburg as he was trying to reload. it isn't clear if fryburg committed suicide or accidentally shot himself. fans, football, and school pride homecoming is supposed to be a time of joy. for students and parents at the university of virginia, sadness

with quite a few cell phone devices, computers. we've gone into the icloud. >> harrington reportedly confessed to sending himself explicit pictures that he found on the dui suspect's phone. he say he's done this a half a dozen times over the past two years. the da says he will decide whether or not to charge harrington and others. the chp is now responding to those allegations against these office. in a press conference, chief avery brown said i'm very disappointed and disgusted with the allegation of misconduct. there are no place our organization for such behavior. a bicyclist is under arrest after police say he waved a knife at a chp sergeant. police say he was drunk and threatening to kill the officer.
