defense. >> pam: berkeley police are calling the death of a 20- year -old contra costa man suspicous. >> pam: yaib -hev loomba was found dead inside the zeta psi fraternity house at u-c berkeley. just after noon yesterday. >> pam: loobma had just recently transferred to u-c davis. and was not a member of the fraternity. family members say, he was here this weekend to celebrate his birthday. >> pam: while police are calling the death suspicious. there is no indiction of foul play. >> we are being very cautious and very thorough for our investigation. at this point, we want to make sure that we investigate every avenue to find out what really happened. >> pam: an autopsy was performed on loomba today. to see if drugs or alcohol played a role in his death. those results will not be available for at another least four weeks. >> pam: this video shows the aftermath of the four car pile- up on the bay bridge. caused by a wrong- way driver. who was allegedly high on drugs.

>> pam: a teenager with two weeks to live is making the best of it. >> pam: dying from osteosarcoma, doctors told the san jose teen that his condition has deteriorated so badly, that he doesn't have much time left. >> pam: kron 4's alecia reid sat down with him and tells us how he's making the rest of his days count. >>coughing* yes please >> reporter:2 weeks is what doctors give him. diagnosed with osteosarcoma, 17 year old alex has already had 16 surgeries and counless sessions of chemo and radiation. >>the best way to deal with things is to stay positive. >> reporter:two years ago the bone cancer started in his leg. it went into remission then spread to his lungs. >> i remember saying i hope it doesn't hurt. and it did. it broke me many times but i always seem to put myself back together. >>coughing

day but it's unfortunate. i'm gonna go down swinging but it's unfortunate. >> reporter:reporting in san jose alecia reid kron 4 news. >> pam: about 18-thousand kaiser permanente nurses in northern california plan to walk off the job tomorrow. for a two day strike. >> pam: kaiser will remain open during the strike. however some procedures and appointments may be rescheduled. >> pam: about 21 kaiser hospitals. and 35 clinics will be impacted by the strike. nurses say they are upset over the lack of resources needed to care for patients. >> pam: they wish to fill 2- thousand vacant nursing positions. want more protection over use of sick leave. and want more flexibility over breaks. >> pam: nurses are aso demanding that hospitals give them better protection and training against ebola. kaiser has hired more than 28-hundred temporary nurses to work during the strike. >> pam: officials say it could cost hospitals up to 20 million dollars a day.
