and palo alto and richmond. rain total for the last few hours are just about over with an inch with the exception of santa rosa. we will talk to you more about that when futurecast up next! >> catherine: one area that saw a lot of problems today was the north bay. >> catherine: where the heavy rain flooded roads and intersections. >> catherine: kron 4's team coverage continues with scott rates live in mill valley tonight. scott? >> reporter: warning drivers of the flooded streets you are seeing several blood but some streets are able or lolling people to get through. another area of concern is downtown mill valley. right off of miller ave. very prone to flooding

to hit the city has to me that there is an issue. there are san back on standby ready to go as we receive more rain tonight. we did see this last year and they are not taking any chances in that area. i did speak with a director in that area of mill valley and a half claimed some of these two were lines and they hope that this will help but they would not take any chances. the most critical time for the businesses in this area is tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.. more of the showers will come through. >> reporter: with the high tide and overnight rain they are concerned.

seen scattered showers right there coming into tomorrow it will not bring us this amount of showers. you can see the rain total over-no matter where you go after it half an inch in downtown san francisco and over an inch in mountain view. >> jacqueline: plastic a look at our rain fall totals over the season. nearly 50 in san francisco and 25 in mountain view and san jose so keep in mind over the best three years and where we are with averages. we are still below average creek we are still below average in well below average in certain places like san jose, s f o at mountain view. we certainly need more rain to bring this closer to
