>> pam:it will be the longest closure since the bridge opened back in 1937. getting around the bay area this weekend could be a big problem. >> pam:kron 4's jr stone is live in san francisco tonight with a look at some of the transit options available.jr? >> reporter:pam.this closure is right around the corner and you can see the concrete barriers behind me that are stacked up and reaady to go. workers were actually out here moving these around today. >> reporter:as for travel options. if you are driving the detor is the richmond- san rafael bridge to 580 to the bay bridge.but chp says they expect heavy traffic in these areas so expect things to take a bit longer. chp is actually adding patrols to these areas to help with the onslaught of traffic especially along the richmond san rafael bridge that isn't as big as the bay bridge. there are also going to be more ferry's going from larkspur and sausalito to the city. these ferries are going to keep service going until 1 am in the morning. and finally golden gate transit buses will be allowed to
