dogs rescued. think they were just bred. they were made for meat. >> she just lost her 16-year- old dog and was prepared for a pet that needed special attention. >> needed a special needs home. they were 57 of them that came over. they all have to with treated special. any dog that comes from a cruel background has to be treated special. the korean farm where ashley was rescued weared it in cages. the humane society was able to shutdown the farm and bring the dogs to california. those dogs will need a patient pet own tore jennifer come their ordeal. >> any animal doesn't know what a loving home is. >> the humane society is working to close more korean dog fires and jackie stevens is grateful. >> thank you sot people that

saw today. for the rest of today. 10:00 this morning, more showers. along the peninsula. most of shower activity is going to be centered in the north bay but it will sweep south and it will sweep east and pick up in intensity by noontime. wide spread all around the bay. some shower activity. it's a pretty quick move system. it'll push east by this afternoon. hopefully we'll dry out in time or easter dinner should be pretty clear. looking pretty good by 5:00 this evening. monday around noontime. they return. moving out to the north bay. moderate rain fall and some heavy rain fall moving in from the north. we'll see some pretty heavy shower activity. and by tuesday we'll see some pretty impressive storm totals. 3 inches in the hills. about 2 inches of rain. so talk about high temperatures

>> back in the bay area a -- on suspicion of human traffic. they arrested wayne ferguson of pimping, pappedderring and human trafficking. a minor for saul exemployeation. he has identified himself as rap artist. officers pulled over ferguson around 1:00 this morning and during the stop, police noticed a young girl in the car with ferguson. officers determined that the girl was being sexual exploited and trafficked. she was later reunited with her family. the search is on this morning for vandals who flash dozens of tires in a north bay community. this happened in -- to more than 20 weeks along three blocks on fourth street. neighbors walked out of their home and that's when they found many of the tires had been slashed >> i don't know who it was. but i just seen that.

earthquake data on this thing. check it out. hundreds gathered in san francisco for an easter sunrise service. this is a tradition that happens upon mount davidson. dry enough to finish. >> the rain held off until 8:00. and then that's when the rain started to come down and everyone stayed dry and enjoy the east sunrise service. one of the most unique settings across the country. about a ten minute hike to the top of mount davidson and you can beat the view of san francisco. a lot of people came up to watch the sunrise and settle in for the service that takes place in front of what organizers say is the tallest cross, 103 cross unideaed ca indicated by president

south lake tahoe. heavenly ski resort getting fresh snow. if you haven't packed away your skis you are being rewarded. by midweek we could see up to six inches of fresh snow in tahoe. we will take it and grateful for the fresh stuff and i hope you get to enjoy that. we can take a live look closer to home at current temperatures on the low side. we have 50 in san francisco and 51 in oakland and 50 for richmond and still not in the 50s for vallejo and 48 your current temperature and chilly start. storm tracker 4 shows why. we have a lot of rain around the bay area. starting to move in within the last half hour and along the peninsula. you can see the moderate rainfall in some areas along the peninsula and we are looking at a hundredth of inch along the peninsula and there is another cell along the east bay. about a tenth of an inch in berkeley and oakland. and the rain is not likely to

stick around for hours on end. this is a fleeting system with a lot of pop-up cells and wrap around cells bringing rainfall so it will clear up and dry out and it will get rainy again. let's focus on the next 24 hours that we have conditions staying cool throughout the day and by the afternoon we are barely getting in the 60-degree range for much of the bay and in the evening it will be a cold night. the highs looking at 59 in san francisco and 61 san mateo and 60 in richmond and 60 will be the high temperature in concord. here is storm system number one and you can see the rain here moving out by 3 and 5:00. if you have dinner plans you should be in good shape. things will clear up and the second system, noontime tomorrow we will see it move in out of the north and moving south and east and this will be of the heavier variety and you can see here with lots more yellow on your screen as future cast four will show you by

break. welcome back to kron4 news. our big story this morning. rain in the bay area. on this easter sunday. taking a live look at the storm 4 tracker radar. if you got the radar on the right of the screen and to the left we have a shot from the san francisco camera looking at the gray skies and it is wet out there. here us a look at your forecast with dan on this easter sunday. where is it raining? >> in san francisco east bay for the most part and right now and we will see it off and on throughout the day and afternoon. it will be a long day of walking the bobos and a wet day and grabbing extra towels for walking the dogs. i call them bobos. all right. let's take a look at the weather. storm tracker 4 showing lots of showers around the bay area. we are we are seeing about a tenth of an inch of rain.

sarah sidener takes a look. >> reporter: california is going dry. >> people should realize we are in a new era. the idea that your green grass getting water. that will be a thing of the past. >> the new edict mandatory water restrictions including changing 50 million square feet of california's thirsty grass lawns to drought-resistant zero scapes. a rebate program makes it free. >> because of the program we have come up with a way for homeowners to get it for free and because of that, this could catch fire and really help. the plan calls for a 25% reduction in urban potable water usage. an agricultural must provide the plan. scientists say these actions can't happen soon enough. california has about one year of water left in its reservoirs on the surface. you don't have to tell her
