into school grounds to get the the office.later others on campus identifed her as the prinicipal.but she ignored my questions. >> reporter:i went to the vallejo unified school district.the director of community engagement wouldn't go on camera but told me that the fight involved approximently 20-25 students.some students were hit. she was not sure of the extend to the contact.but no ambulances were summoned as a result of the incidednt. police were called, but no one was arrested. she says the disclipinary actions were taken against students who were involved and perpertrated the action but she would not go into detail. >> reporter:here's an email that went out to parents that same day letting them know about two incidents that required the school to go on lockdown.one because a staff member believed they saw a weapon flashed in a car driving by the school the second lockdown happening after gunshots were heard. the district spokesperson does not believe these incidents are related to the fight. >> reporter:she says their security staff have a hightened awareness in the light of what happened. but they are continuing to encourage students to speak with adults on campus about any potential safety concern. she says the district staff work hard every day to make sure their students get home >> reporter:maureen kelly kron4 news.
