the bomb squad was called in to investigation. this happened around 9:30 last night on the 400 block of stevenson street. officers shutdown stevenson beneath fifth and sixth. they shutdown fifth between market and mission. after more that are two hours the car fortunately was not a threat and the roads were reopened. happening right now the century for two escaped inmates is entering its ninth day. police searched a farm. both men were serving time for murder. a prison employee is helping them escape. there has been no confirmed sitings of the two men so far. a highly anticipated report is now out this morning shedding new light on what happened in the deadly police

shooting of rice in cleveland ohio. what was in that 200-page report. >> reporter: the investigation by the sheriff's department seems to confirm the story most people know. but delivers greater detail. in a key finding the report cannot confirm a police officer's statement he shouted orders to rice before shooting him. saying according to witnesses interviews it's unclear whether he shouted verbal commands from inside the zone car to rice. who was loactded inside of the gazebo area prior to discharging his weapon. he was one to two seconds after getting out of his car. one that hit the boy standing four and a half to seven feet away. the documents revealed moments after the shooting requested ems then asked for them again asking to step it up. in a third request asked for cleveland fire to respond.

it would take 8 minutes for an ambulance to arrive. he was given first aid by an fbi agent who arrived 4 minutes after the shooting. the agent who's name is blacked out turned over and acknowledged then looked at me. he reached for my hand. >> the sheriff's department also investigating the 9-1-1 call reporting a male on the playground threatening with a gun. the report reveals the caller was drinking a beer in the park waiting on a bus. >> scary stuff. >> he told the police operator the suspect could be a juvenile and the gun was probably fake. critical information never given to the officers. why it wasn't passed along, she went silent saying she refused to answer questions per her attorney. the investigation says rice got the pellet gun from his

best friend. they told the investigators it's not real, had been removed during a repair and couldn't get it back on. in numerous statements officers and emergency responders who saw the weapon next to rice say they thought it was real. they said rice appeared much older and larger than a child. 16 and 20 and that he looked about 200 pounds. it's only when rice's sister arrives he's 12. >> some noticeable things missing. they declined to be interviewed. not in the 200-page report no conclusion if it was justified or not. other big news we're following a child who police say was abducted has been found

discharging his weapon. investigators found him shot 1 to 2 seconds, firing two shots, one hit the boy standing 4.5 to 7 feet away. the documents revealed moments after the shooting officer frank requested ems, asked for ems again telling them quote step it up, then in a third request, asked for cleveland fire to respond, it would take 8 minutes for an ambulance to arrive. the report says rice was given first aid by an fbi agent, trained as a pair paramedics. the agents said rice turned over and acknowledged and looked at me, and like reached for my hand. the sheriff's department investigated the 911 call reporting a male on the playground threatening with an apparent gun. the caller was drinking a beer in the park waiting on a bus. he told the police oper the

suspect could be a juvenile and the gun was probably fake. critical information never given to the responding police officers. when the dispatcher was asked why the information wasn't passed along , the report says she went silent saying she refused to answer questions per her attorney. the investigation says rice got the pellet gun from his best friend trading a cell phone for it. the friend told investigators the orange ring identifying the gun is not real, had been removed during a repair and couldn't get it back on. in numerous statements officers and emergency responders who saw the weapon next to rice say they thought it was real, they said rice appeared much older and larger than a child. offering age estimates between 16-20, he looked 200 pounds. rice's sister arrived and they learn he is 12. some noticeable missing items in the report, both fist

what their kids eat or drink. this legislation doesn't ban anything. as with cigarettes we wants to support efforts to keep kids healthy by having the warnings. it's all love and happiness and puppies and rainbows '%a"4 nd reminding people, these drinks, one to two cans of soda a day increases the risk of diabetes, by 26%. we want parents to have control over what their kids eat and drink, we want to support that especially because we know that the soda industry, specifically targets kids with marketing and trying to get kids to drink more. in california, teenagers are drinking more and more especially sports drinks and energy drinks with huge amounts of sugar. >> what about as far as we were running a story yesterday, about no sugary drinks and hospitals, vending machines and how did that come about? >> ucsf in san francisco general hospital are two of the

cutting edge institution , the research linking sugary drinks to diabetes, and fatty liver disease and health problems, that rehas come out of ucsf. it was powerful to see ucsf put the money where it's mouth is and say the drinks are making people sick and we are not going to provide them in our facilities anymore. >> i was reading an editorial in the san francisco chronicle, this person was saying, you guys are overstepping your bounds and the editorial comment was also that, this is a very complicated situation, why are you doing this, you shouldn't be doing this. what would you say to something like this? >> a woman named leesa, she is on the payroll of the american beverage association, her views are contrary to the scientific

consensus in the country. when you look at cigarettes over decades, we were able to reduce smoking rates from over 50%, to a little bit more than 15%. when we did it through health warnings on ads and cigarettes, cigarette taxes, education, with a bunch of different smart public policy moves, that really collapsed smoking rates. we needs to do with the same with soda. >> here is the warning, this is going to be on everything? >> so the health warning will be on billboards, signs, outside or insides of stores, any kind of stationary advertising a sign or billboard, we can't put it on, require it locally on the product, the state can do that, there is a bill that's failed a few times in the state legislator, to require health warnings on the drinks
