>> pam:big news from the 49ers today. the team released linebacker aldon smith after he was arrested on hit-and-run, driving under the influence and vandalism charges last night. san jose police responded to reports of a disturbance involving a crash. officers say smith hit a parked vehicle.while parking on his own truck. then reportedly he caused additional damage with his car door. he walked away. but then returned. police say smith failed two sobriety tests.and was arrested. he was booked into the santa clara county jail and released this morning on $26-thousand dollars bond. this is the fifth time aldon smith has been arrested in the past three years. the 49ers have consistently expressed support for their
