>> thank you for joining us on this labor day holiday weekend. a special show for you. preview the biggest fall shows coming to prime time. >> there's so many, but right now, it's the last unofficial weekend of summer, and so many stars in hollywood are enjoying it as single men and women, right? >> so many breakups in hollywood, ben, jen, miranda and blake. >> reba and her husband, together for 26 years, and now we are going deeper into the splits and morement it's the summer breakups by the numbers. >> there have been 15 celebrity summer splits so far with just a few weeks to go. nine of the couples were dating, the other six married. the summer's biggest shocker? blake shelton and miranda lambert's divorce. >> it happened so fast. within hours of the split, we heard blake and miranda finalized the divorce. >> we felt it a little, and just

a anytime, i mean divorce is a tremendous thing to deal with so in the public's eye, you hope they are doing good and happy at the end of the day. >> the story had legs because the split was am my cab, joking about it on twitter, seemed friendly, so we followed it to see what went wrong. in an interview two days after their split, blake was in a surprisingly good mood joking with e.t. ♪ >> what's in the cub, sir? >> vodka. i thought i'd go ahead and get started. one of those weeks. >> it was one of those weeks for so many celebrities this summer, nine of whom are musicians, 15 are incoming a beauty queen for a net worth of $1 billion. one of the talked about splits was ben and jennifer who divide up a reported $135 million in assets. >> this is a split everyone saw

coming because rumors of a breakup ran rampant for so long. the actors carefully timed the split, making sure the statements came out while away, they kept wearing the rings, spent time together, and with their kids, but their plans got thrown out when scandal hit, may 2015. no one expected that. did ben affleck cheat on his wife with their own nanny? we're not sure if we'll really get the full story, but what we do know is that jennifer garner had had enough. >> while ben denies the cheating story, there is a rumor he and jen entered counselling to save the ten year marriage. of all the summer splits, reba was married the longest, 26 years. all together, these couples have won five oscars, five emmy's, nine grammy's, and six golden globes, but perhaps the statistic, there are children
