a little bit of a nuisance shower may come to pass and then clearing up it's not an all day program. lower 60s, temperatures with the cloud cover we had overnight, keeping them controlled. there you see some upper 50s we got some clearing overnight. a san francisco planner gets temperatures in the mid-60s. west wind 10-15, dropping to the lower 60s by the time we get into the late afternoon. a look at your day planner, starting the day off with mostly cloudy skies, temperatures in the upper 50s to 60 will do it at noon. variable clouds and cool. there we get the number starting to pop or trying to. late in the evening, variable clouds, keep a spotty shower thrown in for good measures.

leukemia and lymphoma society. coming back live, be aware traffic in this area surrounding the starting line in union square. it's not fun to drive in i can tell you that from personal experience. the finish line, marina greens. expect it to be closed off in those areas as well. after we leave here, we are going to the finish line. the first group is expected to finish at 7:30. >> >> want to show you the race map avery was talking about, traffic issues. if you are coming into the city, here are street closures you need to know about. -- officials are saying if you can avoid these areas, you probably should. happening.

friday morning on g street in antioch, a staffer on the way to school when she recognized an 11-year-old student in a strange car. the employee didn't recognize the driver, so she used her own car to block the vehicle and called police. when they arrived at the scene, they arrested santiago sal czar. investigators say he followed the girl. as she went walking, he grabbed her and pulled her into his car. people that live in the neighborhood say they have not surprised this would happen. >> i'm shocked that somebody would do something like this, but not shocked it happened here. we get these calls four times a year saying somebody was almost ab ducked. we get the worst crimes. i love this town, i love pittsburgh, but it has become the cess pool of contra costa

county. >> parents who folk with kron 4 tell us they are thankful the school worker was on guard. >> >> city workers close tore filling the giant sink hole in east bay. it doubled in size between wednesday and thursday. now, it's filled with sand to cover up the repaired water line and other underground utilities. the repair work will continue into the week and should be finished by tuesday. >> >> a closer look at the location of the sink hole. that's near alvarado middle school. officials are warning if you take your kids to school tomorrow, expect delays. >> >> earthquakes continue to shake the san ramon area. at least 20 quakes rumbled through the day yesterday.

>> reporter: homes here in san ramon have been shaking. in map shows the size mick activity over the past week. you can see a form of small quakes, saturday was not different. so far, saturday, at least 20 earthquakes in san ramon, most of then epi center near this area with the smallest 1-3 on the richter scale and the biggest, 2.9. what does it all mean? for that, we went to the u.s. gs. >> typical behavior we see in the san ramon area. we have had four significant form in the alamo danville area since 1970s. some of these have lasted a couple of months with hundreds of events, usually, the largest

>> we are back on kron 4 news weekend. let's get the low down on the forecast from our meteorologist, dave. >> hi there, marty, good morning, everybody. another shot, the bay bridge lear, the low clouds, which will be the case throughout much of the day, still today. variable clouds may work in parts of the afternoon. we'll start things off on a

mostly cloudy note the low continues in our neighborhood. even when we get clear patches, that's fine, but when we get today time heating, it will allow instability because it will raise to higher levels because of the heating. that situation will chain, we'll not be talking about lows in our seven day, we are talking about high pressure in up shore winds. you can see the peninsula, 60 san francisco. chilly to the north bay. and then across wine country, mid-50s. napa upper 50s in the far east with the bay shore line lower 60s at this hour. future cast 4, you see the cloudy is he fair yo' getting to the noon around, but again, we get the daytime heating. all that may do is provide energy to give us a little shower later this afternoon and this evening. temperatures on future cast 4, going forward. there is a warmup that happens far to the east. you done see it near the bay at

>> national news this morning, two shark attacks on beaches in hawaii have two men seriously hurt. a shark bit a 33-year-old man on saturday night. he was taken to the hospital in serious condition. earlier saturday morning, a 44- year-old man was attacked by a shark while swimming near the beach. on the winward side of aohu. the doctor said he has serious injuries to his lower legs. no word on what type of shark was behind the latest attacks. >> >> big news out of sacramento, police releasing sketches of the man they believed stabbed spencer stone. take a look -- stone was stabbed multiple times in a fight outside of a sacramento bar earlier this mon. he suffered knife wounds after stopping a gunman on the paris train in august stone along with two friends were hailed as

a little breeze we should make note of. noon hour, double digits about to break. into the afternoon. peninsula, east bay alike. double digits, hourly estimates, 10-15-miles an hour, a little breeze in our atmospheric conditions. we are keeping a chance of an isolated forecast. nice cleanup job already at this early hour, however, it looks like it will happen later on, today, too, but all that will do is allow more heating of the surface and then, later on, produce cloud cover and maybe an isolated shower. by 5:00 p.m. , it's starting to clear up off to the north and down to the south bay, maybe a couple of stray showers at work. let's check out the temperatures in detail. shoreline, -- 70 oakland, castro valley at 71, but even as we head further to the east, east bay, far east bay, numbers are still in the 70s.
