w3 this is a man who appeare in a series of isis execution videos. this is a still shot of him. even though officials are confident the airstrikes were successful, his death is still not officially confirmed. this masked manç became known as she hotties john. the mysterious figure appeared in videos by isis. a japanese journalist and a number of other hostages. western officials eventually identified him. it is a british and citizen believed to have been born in kuwait. they now believe he is dead.

>> they believe they got him with a drone strike with the vehicles that he has an. they are not 100% sure. there looking for confirmation. >> reporter: isis has long been known for the propaganda videos they have distributed from online. they described him as grotesque. the panic in -- the pentagon announced it is a mission of persistent surveillance. it was not immediately clear whether that strike was successful. i'm andrew spencer reporting. let's talk about the weather as we take a live look out side. it is chilly this morning though not as cold as yesterday.

after she got out of her car to exchange information with another driver after a crash. police say it happened right around 8:00 last night. officers say the woman and the passenger got after the car after a fender bender. another car hit their car and that knocked it into the women in the passenger. those were taken to the hospital with that victim later died. source mac -- man is dead after an officer involved shooting. police i]work called to the apartment around noon on thursday. police say the woman called them about a domestic flight. officers said a man with a knife charged at them and they werd0forced to open fire. >> three officers use their department weapons to fire at the suspect at close range. >> the suspect was shot in that doorway and later died at the hospital.

there that are chilly. we have no frost advisories. it is 37 degrees in novato. off of 30 and we are seeing 40s out there. 44 in san jose. here is a quick look at the forecast. by 8:00, look for a lot of sunshine. it is going to be 50s for the coast. at lunchtime we will see 60s across the bay area. by 3 pm, look at those ties. upper ç60s for the çbay shore. some places might even see mid- 70s today. we are still tracking a little bit of fog for santa rosa. pleasanton looks good. there are no issues for the san

jose airport. let's talk about the storm coming through this weekend. our future cast are sett( frida at noon. saturday will be a good day to get outdoors. it will be dry for the evening hours. we can see increasing clouds ahead of the next on coming through. it looks like the timing has slowed down a little bit. it looks like the rain will not arrive until midnight and early sunday morning. the rest of the rain will come through the bay area overnight and most likely sunday morning. it is a fairly fast moving storm with a quick burst of moderate rain. check your highs for today. we will see a lot of mid to upper 60s. it will be 65 in san francisco, upper 60s in oakland. it will be 68 in livermore and san jose and sunnyvale. our north a friend are looking at close to 70. our next three

san francisco. we have a big rig on its side in richmond. it is blocking the on-ramp to interstate to interstate 80 westbound. as that is the roof that you take to get to the eastshore freeway, try using the one a little to the north. as you are heading southbound along carlton boulevard, take a left hand turn and you can get on the freeway a little earlier. as i am reading this chp law, i'm getting the sent that this is close enough to the city street that it will not be a visual hazard to commuters on interstate 80. that would likely produce a huge impact if it were obscured are rather visible from the freeway or if any lanes were obscured there. it are not as a dad peers -- they are not as it appears to the chp log. if you are heading toward the bay bridge this morning, you

happening right now, police are looking for three men responsible for a robbery at a home early thursday morning. police say the mass men all had guns when they confronted a woman as she was leaving for work. they forced her back in the home and held her, her husband, and her son at gunpoint. that these the stole money and jewelry and some guns. nobody was hurt but police are trying to track down those responsible. dogs are used to sniff out

accident. >> so far it has little to no impact on interstate 80. it is located on the carlson boulevard on-ramp. expected to be there until 7:30. that was an estimate made in the 2:00 hour. the accident occurred about 1:00 this morning. the other piece is that you want to use put writer oh -- potrero to get onto interstate interstate 80. as we have been mentioning, it is a zero impact for the drivetime on interstate 80 westbound. we have no slowing as a result of it. tracking your east bay traveling, you have a good ride. it is problem free through the san ramon valley. eight 880 southbound looks good. south bay freeway is are clear of any delays. tracking to write to the

meadowview police have a pulled over a google car. was a speeding? no. it was driving too slow actually. police say they were virtually -- patrolling the area when they noticed traffic accu not. -- backing up. officers realized it was a google car driving on its own which can only go up to 25 miles per hour for safety reasons. police say the car speed was legal. they just wanted to make sure it was operating properly. we will take you behind the scenes with stanley roberts in
