showed up. one has been arrested. he has been booked into custody without any shots being fired.>> we have been hit citywide it with a rash of burglaries.ç we are hoping by taking this man off the street, we will prevent other burglaries from occurring. we will also send a strong message out there to any other burglars. although we are short staffed, we have enough to go ahead and fight crime in the city of san jose. >> the suspect is raising charges of assault with a deadly women -- weapon. part of this tree will be shut down for the next three days. jeb bush explains why. >> reporter: signs along then as avenue warning drivers of the three-day closure. it will be shut down in to early

san francisco. we have a big rig on its side in richmond. it is blocking the on-ramp to interstate to interstate 80 westbound. as that is the roof that you take to get to the eastshore freeway, try using the one a little to the north. as you are heading southbound along carlton boulevard, take a left hand turn and you can get on the freeway a little earlier. as i am reading this chp law, i'm getting the sent that this is close enough to the city street that it will not be a visual hazard to commuters on interstate 80. that would likely produce a huge impact if it were obscured are rather visible from the freeway or if any lanes were obscured there. it are not as a dad peers -- they are not as it appears to the chp log. if you are heading toward the bay bridge this morning, you

happening right now, police are looking for three men responsible for a robbery at a home early thursday morning. police say the mass men all had guns when they confronted a woman as she was leaving for work. they forced her back in the home and held her, her husband, and her son at gunpoint. that these the stole money and jewelry and some guns. nobody was hurt but police are trying to track down those responsible. dogs are used to sniff out

bridges, a bridge check shows the bay bridge with no backup. the san mateo bridge, too early to see problems here. it is two minutes from hayward to san mateo. still tracking a light and easy ride here with no problems over the golden gate bridge. they are delay free. to the news now. let's go to san jose where they have arrested one but they are looking for two other burglary suspects. they broke into a home. one took a time -- sometime to quench his thirst. you can see him drinking orange juice before he gets around to drive -- robbing the house. this is a picture of the suspect in custody. the suspects made off with some guns and some soda from the fridge. this man was on parole. they say he had a gun in his

the next time it will be monday. keep in mind, only buses can get through this closure. we have seen a race car get through and they were told no. the reason they are shutting this section down is sutter health needs to install 124 -foot long tunnel that connects one building to the other. for them to do that, they need to shutdown. they have been planning this for some time. this section will not be available to you. there are police officers on hand to make sure you get around this as you safely can and even possible to give you a ticket if you don't comply. there will be officers at every intersection during this closure. we have a chance to talk to some construction crew members. here is information they want to pass along. >> what we are doing is rerouting northbound traffic on

:00 p.m. and that's when it impacting the northern portion and then 1:00 still impacting the north bay and then in the heart of the bay and about 5:00 it clears out of the area. the majority of the rain that will fall in this system with the north bay and the bulk of it and until noon, the possibility still exist for portions of the south bay. make sure that umbrella is with you. the bulk of area will pass through in the evening. that's what we are expecting with the weekend forecast and monday night things are dry and warming. let's get the freeway

traffic. >> it's on the interstate 80. that small distinction makes the different in the commute for the east shore way. it's still on its side here blocking the carlson boulevard onramp to 80 westbound. let's see if we can take a picture of the location. that should be right here. we are talking about this onramp and because it's not on the freeway, it hasn't affected the drive time yet. that's at least the good news here. and the commute time is still at 15 15 minutes for 80 westbound. this being friday, we are getting a later start for the drive here for the westbound drive. no indication they will get here by 7:30 which is what they want to do. if you get on the portrero avenue you can use the entrance
