the falls and you get this beautiful block and you will get blooming flowers and the birds are going and you get that experience. >> very relaxing. >> yes. >> now, when you not do any walking, how about a farm. >> i wouldn't think about a hawaiian farm. >> that is true but i will recommend this is the hawaiian company. not far from apopka farms. a nice place to sit down and have lunch. really what i recommend is go check out the farm per se. a family that just had a dream of growing something and it wound up being vanilla. i never knew how vanilla was made or done. i think hawaiian pineapples or macadamia nuts. but the growing of vanilla. >> you can do the farm tour.

absolutely. there will be snow and activities and decision a great chance to get black shopping in. a lot of the stores having sales including the shops in the lower plaza and selling everything from hand bags and beautiful clothing and this is a sale as well. everything will be 20% off including the sales rack. >> and hot cider. >> you are at ghiradelli square and can get hot cocoa and make a hot fudge sundae and the tree is 60 feet tall and light it up at 6:30 and there will be music there as well. right? >> absolutely. it is a wonderful traditional san francisco thing to do. to come here and experience it. the tree lighting will be in season and the snow and awesome and fun for the whole family

in the perimeters in the 50s on the east bay. the satellite from idea scattered clouds and this is the beginning of the low moving through and more tomorrow and slightly cooler temperatures and it is the big low that will be the game changer. for today's performance, pretty good shot here for you have the golden gate bridge and light traffic and here is a light breeze going on which is offshore the last 24 hours and a fairly dry atmosphere. and here is the details. we are in monday and about 6:00 p.m. still scattered clouds and thickening up over the day. then by tuesday. about 7:00 a.m. and it crosses the golden gate in the peninsula. and that is wave one. there's a second wave by tuesday night. and then that's about it as we go to wednesday. that's the cooler temperatures that we are watching. east bay shoreline. lower 70s for example oakley 72

and temperatures pretty much the same. this is where you will see the low temperatures at around freezing. we get to wednesday, no kidding. here it is. high temperatures in the 50s and again the timing of the rain tuesday, morning and tuesday night. and into wednesday. it is kind of blustery and okay for the regional travel. big drop in temperatures this week. >> thanks, dave. following breaking news out of the east bay. one person is dead and two people hurt after a shooting in antioch. it happened on l street. here is a map of the area. according to police the victims were standing outside of an apartment when the gunman walked up and opened fire. we do not have word on a motive. police are still looking for the gunmen. >> the driver accused of crashing her car through an oklahoma state university homecoming parade was not legally drunk at the time. this is according to a new dom

that was filed in court that claims chambers' blood content was .01. chambers is accused of killing four people and injuring dozens more in the crash. she faces four counts of second- degree murder and 46 counts of assault. prosecutors say evidence suggest it was "an intentional act. " new this morning five people recovering after a fire at a famous chicago skyscraper. flames could be seen coming from the 50th floor of the hancock center on saturday afternoon. the building has offices shops and residential units along with a popular observation floor that a lot tourists go to. all of the injuries are minor. investigators are now looking into the cause of the fire. coming up here on kron4 news. we are following the warriors in their amazing win streak. what they need to do now to

to make a record against the lakers on tuesday. tip off is 5:00 from denver. stanford beat cal yesterday. 35-22 going on to win the 3rd pack 12 title in four years. stanford was lead by runningback christian mccavfrey that rushed for 192 yards with one receiving touchdown. cal quarterback jarrett gos could not get it done even after throwing for 386 yards and two touchdowns. stanford played 4th ranked notre dame next week. happening today. the oakland raiders travel to detroit to take on the lions. they will bounce back after winning two in a row. the kickoff is two days from now. the 49ers head to seattle to take on the seahawks and coming off a big victory last week.

coast. coming up we will let you know about the rain and the temperature change. breaking news we first told you about. officials in mali say 22 people have died following the terror attack at a radisson hotel. we are learning more about a possible motive. cn nis reporting that there were local peace talks happening at the hotel when the gunman entered the building. the american was one of the people killed. new this morning, reporter david mccaven talked to someone in the hotel. >> the cracked holes remain and bullet holes. new details on the devastating the attack. gunmen started at 7 in the morning. and now investigators are here trying to peace through what happened. what we are learning is new information, they did not come

inside in vehicles. the un is saying they snuck behind on foot and rapidly came through the back of the hotel and started shooting. the hotel concierges say they were unprepared for the weapons and soldiers. everyone was running scared he said. they were shooting at anyone that moved. he says he then looked terror in the eye. the gunman had a cap and blue shirt and jeans and pointed the gun at me and steered at me and i ran. they did everything they could to survive. >> did you barricade the door? >> yes. and we put a lot of heavy stuff so they could not get in. >> and did you hear the noises getting closer? >> yes. we heard a lot of guns firing and they were trying to knock the door and enter in the

building but thanks to god we were barricaded. >> the quick actions by the forces left many injured. david mckenzie. cn nmali. we have video from a protest over hollywood boulevard over bill cosby's star. an actor says she was assaulted by him but never got her day in court because of california's ten year statute of limitations on rape. other alleged cosby victims and supporters gathered to stand with ms. bernard in going after the actor and the legal system. bernard says it took 46 other women coming forward for what she felt was confident to file the police report. she says cosby threatened her. >> i carried the fear over serious allegations over my life. i am scarred from receiving any justice because i was a few

months outside of the statute of limitations. some states have already arena in -- abolished the statute of limitations. bill cosby has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and not yet charged. big bay area news for this morning. we got our first look at zuckerberg san francisco general hospital. mark zuckerberg and his wife contributed 75 million-dollars, the largest individual donation to a public hospital in u.s. history. kron4 elise reed says this is the only trauma one level center in san francisco. >> reporter: amazing. inside the zuckerberg san francisco general hospital and trauma center is a brand new state-of-the-art facility. >> it will allow us to treat

good morning. utah father is heart broken after his infant daughter was taken out of his home. the baby's mother allowed her

to be adopted without his consent. colby nil son's daughter kaley was born on the 4th of november and he has barrel left her side until he was forced to give her to adoptive parents after kaley's mother decided to put her up for adoption. utah law allows biological mothers to put their babies up for adoption without notifying the biological father. >> this is statutorily skewed against biological fathers. >> in order to keep his daughter, nilson needed to file a paternity action and affidavit and a notice with utah's vital records a day before the mother signed the adoption papers. nilson's case he says the mother only gave him a few hours notice. nilson's lawyer is confident they will get kaley back even if they go all the way to the supreme court. a live look outside right now at the san mateo bridge.

it is free. good morning and happy sunday. we have the high clouds making their appearance today. the temperatures will still hold unlike on monday. we will see temperatures reduction. 52 for nevada and 48 for santa rosa. the east bay 40s hanging on and for the perimeter. we have a hodgepodge of 40s hayward has 55 and san mateo at 46. we do have word that the high

clouds coming in. by tuesday that's the game changer. a low dropping out of the gulf of alaska with colder temperatures. but we will see the front move through by tuesday morning. future track. check out the temperatures. nice yellows cover a portion of the bay showing how nice and fairly warm we will be for this time of year. the peninsula holding onto the 60s. temperatures in the 50s and 40s and probably see 30s working in parts of the countries in the far east bay. with the the dry air in place and going to tomorrow, rather the highs for tomorrow, only the 60s and the 70s far away from home. this is the first sign that things are changing for monday. by tuesday the first batch of the showers. your temperatures along the east bay. a fixture of the upper 60s and lower 70s from yesterday and a quick peek in north bay. temperatures in the 60s and santa rosa by a high of 70s.

right now in mill valley 66 and fairfield at 67. tuesday the big day. scattered showers throughout the bay and another batch for tuesday night. after that, maybe a brief sprinkle here and there and clearing out and much colder and blustery with highs in the 50s for the rest of the week including thanksgiving. chilly and cold morning lows in the 30s. thank you, dave. the big news we are following. the recent tour bus crash in san francisco that is raising some concerns. among local lawmakers. it happened earlier this month when an out of control tour bus barreled through the city streets and crashed into a construction site in union square. 20 people were hurt. we do not know what caused the crash. but the california agency that

regulates tour buses is saying that company sightseeing never registered this particular bus. here to talk about this major issue is our supervisor jane kent. thanks for being with us. you were vocal saying something needs to be done to regulate the tour buses because not only do tourists come ride them but this hurts san francisco. >> absolutely. we have learned from the issue that absolutely the state that regulates the tour buses here in san francisco maybe don't have the resources but also aren't fully inspecting all of the large vehicles that are on the roads and that has happened for hundreds of tourists that want to have a fan experience in san francisco and every day workers and residents that use our city. there were some accusations that the tour bus company did a license plate switch and the plate on the tour bus belonged to a different bus and that the bus in that crash that we will

see was never registered and never inspected. how does a bus like that end up on the streets? >> that's the very question i had and i think it raises a lot of concerns. for the tour bus company and the hole in the existing state policy. what i learned in this is that my expectations that one hundred percent of all of the tour buses are inspected in san francisco. >> i think everybody has that expectation. large vehicles and they use our most congested and busy streets and they are on a lot of the streets and we see them every day. and we find out that state does a representative sample. that is not good enough. >> we don't know what caused the crash. there is some talk from the bus driver's attorney that brakes did not work but he tried to step on the brakes and tried to step on the gas and nothing he could do and he purposely tried to crash into the scaffolding as a way to stop from going down more streets and hurting other people.

we will of course be following that on kron4 but i want to talk about the city vision zero to have zero fatalities. a ten year plan and a year in and nine years left, can you tell us what will be done in the next few years? >> sure. two years ago when we had kind of the highest state of pedestrian and cyclists fatalities. we took a look at what the city was doing to prevent the deaths that are one hundred percent preventable. something we learned that we had more individuals killed by carses than by guns that year and so we have to step up and do more. it is a mixture of efforts, one a better job with engineering and education and enforcement. one is dividing up the duties so it is clear where the cyclists and the drivers are and two educating them. >> and that happens on market street. they did a little lane that got raised up and that was part of

the plan. >> yes. raising the bike lanes and a demarcation for the drivers about where the cyclists go and also it is safer for them and the tour bus companies stepping up to make sure that the streets are safer for everyone. >> will the city do more marking of crosswalks and things that we are visibly able to see? >> yes. you are probably seeing them now. when i called for this a year ago. i asked for 24 projects and that makes the streets safer and we did that ahead of schedule. ahead of the two year timeline we completed all 24 and the mayor and i were able to announce that friday morning. what do you see happening with the tour bus either the company, the california highway patrol, the chpd, how will someone be held accountable for

what happened where 20 people were seriously hurt? >> our office has reached out to the state representative and also state senator jerry hill in san mateo. they are concerned about what they see as flaws or gaps in the system. we want to see one hundred percent of all of the tour buses inspected here in san francisco. here locally, we are also going to be hiring someone to just look at all of the tour bus operator routes and kind of manage what we know about the tour buses and i know that as far as where they go in the city. we have very little jurisdiction over tour buses we can do a better job understanding where they are and where they drive and doing what we can to provide better enforcement on the streets. >> thank you so much. >> thank you. >> have a happy thanksgiving. >> thank you. >> appreciate you being here and we will take a look look here in san francisco before we take a quick commercial break.
