index >>victor bailon, owner of the taqueria says when we came to work in the morning we saw a car parked behind the back door. so we called police. the car should not have been there, the parking lot is empty every night. so the police came and checked it out and it looks like it was in an accident. >> grant:police say the hit and run accident happened just after midnight. on winchester boulevard and loma verde drive. the name of the bicyclist has not been released. but kron 4 has learned that the person who died was a hispanic man in his 50's. >> grant:police say the this death marks the city's sixth traffic fatality this year. >> pam: emergency crews responded to a multi- vehicle crash. involving a muni bus this morning in san francisco. >> pam: the accident happened right before noon, at ocean avenue and phelan avenue. >> catherine:it appears one vehicle rear- ended a truck. which was pushed onto the side of the muni bus. no major injuries were reported, but the area was closed for a short time. >> catherine:there is currently an investigation

on the cause of the accident. >> pam: palo alto police are looking for a man who reportedly brandished a handgun at a women. during a road rage incident yesterday. shortly after 5 p-m, officers responded to the 3300- block of alma street, where the incident ocurred. >> pam: a women was driving in the area. when she saw a car speeding. it swerved in front of her. she slammed on the breaks to avoid collision and honked her horn. the two cars continued down the road until the speeding vehicle came to a stop.a male exited.began yelling at the women and then pulled out a hundgun. the car. >> pam:but a thief grabs the chance to steal the vehicle - with the baby still inside. catherine heenan is here with 'two' examples of that happening in california

this week. >> catherine:it's a crime that happened near san diego -- twice within less than 24 hours. fortunately - both babies are ok. >> catherine:in the first case - a car was stolen wednesday night in chula vista while a woman was checking into a hotel. she'd left her 18-month old son in the back seat. >> catherine:but the thief actually called police himself and confessed when he realized he had a baby along for the ride. in the second case - a woman in escondido ran into her apartment thursday - leaving her 5-month-old girl in the car.and the car was gone when she came out. >> catherine:witnesses who were able to give police some details included a little boy who had been playing nearby. >> catherine:the car in that case was found abandoned at a nearby apartment complex.with the baby girl crying, but unhurt. the search continues for the thief. >> catherine:in the case of the stolen car with the 18- month-old boy inside - an arrest has been made.
