eroding cliffside was torn down yesterday. and this is video of that work being done. now that it's been torn down, the attention will turn to 310 esplinad, that was the building that was yellow tagged back in january. the tenants were forced to move out because it was also facing erosion issues. and the warriors winning their 49th regular season game at home yesterday, beating the new orleans pelicans 125-107. it was steph curry's birthday. he finished the game with 27 points. and with 16 games to go, they remain one game ahead of the 95- 96 chicago bull's pace in their record 72-win season. so we'll hope that they can achieve that record as well. seems like the record keeps falling everyday they play. here's a live look outside our richmond san rafael toll bridge camera where it looks nice and dry out there. on the cold side, this morning, as you head out this morning, you certainly want to bundle up the kids. we have annie with a breakdown of what we're seeing right now. >> cold but not rainy. >> the good and the bad. >> i don't think anyone is complaining about the fact it's not raining because, gosh, we've had so much of it over

the last week or so >> no kidding. >> checking out our mount camera, we do have clear skies out there, and because of that that's why temperatures are running quite a bit cooler this morning compared to this time yesterday around 24 hours ago. so we're seeing a lot more 40s out there. we were in the 50s this time yesterday, low 40s in pleasanton and livermore. we could maybe get to the upper 30s for pleasanton and livermore over the next couple of hours. so we'll have to watch these numbers because they're expected to drop as we get closer to sunrise. 45 in fremont, 47 in san jose, and 40s in san mateo. 45 in oakland and 45 degrees as well for our friends in napa. so just how much cooler is it? here's a quick check of our 24- hour temperature change, minus 13 in livermore, minus 10 in fairfield. 11 in vallejo, 11 degrees colder in oakland now, 8 in san jose and 10 for half moon bay. so everybody waking up to cooler conditions this morning. the south bay forecast holding lots of sunshine for today. we'll see a lot of mid-60s out

4:49 am
in fact, temperatures will be in the mid- to upper 70s that afternoon. friday a little cooler, but still mild to warm conditions. we'll stay in the 70s through saturday. and then the changes come for sunday an monday. we are tracking the next storm to bring us some rain sunday night into monday right now. it's not a really big storm, so not expecting a huge washout right now. but we'll keep our eye on that over the next few days here. time now is 4:49. how's that east bay ride shaping up? >>reporter: hey, the east bay ride looks great. early commuters are making good time. first i'll check the ride across the golden gate. your connection between the north bay and san francisco. no major problems right now. wien looks good through nevado. no problems into san rafael, it's going to be a good trip for southbound 101 commuters heading into san francisco. it's at the limit, under 20 minutes from 101/37 in nevado to get to san francisco side of the golden gate. i'm tracking the commute on 580 west out of the east bay coming to the north bay. it's starting to pick up a

little bit here at the richmond/san rafael bridge toll plaza. no major problems connecting through the pay gates and out to 101. so it'll be 8 to 10 minute from that total trip from the toll plaza to 101 in san rafael. since we don't have any hot spots, i'm tracking travel times. they look fantastic. 580 out of castor valley no problems into san leandro. 880, the nimitz freeway up to 980 a quick 11-minute trip. no problems for north 101. if you have to leave the south bay and get tot peninsula, looks clear all the way up to sfo. now we'll head back to the desk. james. >> robin, thank you. city engineers try everything in their power to keep the roads safe, but in many cases it's the drivers themselves who have to participate in the safety measures in order for them to work properly. and drivers who choose not to participate, well, that falls under the jurisdiction of people behaving badly. >> you can't turn left there. >> we are not allowed -- >> you don't see the sign?
