weekend. including fans headed you'll need to take a bus between the san leandro and bay also - buses used at the bay stations hit by power problems over the last week -- are now being replaced by another temporary solution. monday - will take riders between the pittsburg/bay point and north concord stations. throughout the entire service bart still doesn't have a timeline for when normal service kron four's maureen kelly. has more on the changes with the fremont line. it's about replacing a system that's 45 years old. bart trains will not be running on this stretch of track starting 6am saturday morning until 4am monday so that workers can replace over 950 wooden rail ties and other components.like much of the bart's infrastructure this much of what you see here is from 1972. like in north concord there is going to be a free bus bridge to help people get between the two stations.but riders are being told to add an additional 30-60 minutes to their commute time.just in case. the news isn't going over well

last month near san francisco's japantown -- has died. surveillance video has been released. the incident happened february 18th. the man had been walking with his niece when he was held up and stabbed in the head - near post and franklin. he died in the hospital last night. the suspects -- a man and woman - have not been caught. san francisco police have arrested two people in the shooting death that happened outside a mcdonald's last month. 21-year-old kenya cyprien and johnny jackson. were taken into custody yesterday. they're accused of killing 23- year-old curtis cail. it happened in february. outside the mcdonald's restaurant at 11- hundred fillmore street. investigators said they believe cail was "targeted".

highway 17 in the south bay has long been known as one of the bay area's most dangerous roads. with a spike in crashes - kron four's rob fladeboe reports that the twisting mountain highway is more than living up to its reputation. >> reporter:sixty thousand vehicles a day are traveling 'over the hill' as it's known between los gatos and scotts valley in the santa cruz mountains. and more every day due to a strong economy. and more traffic means more accidents. sot officer ross lee/chp the number of crashes in 2015 was the most in a decade. in january of this year, the 95 accidents tracked by the safe on 17 committee was three times as many as there were in january of 2015. more often than not one or more of those involved in accidents were going too fast.

"they are extremely courageous. they all want to fight back and go back to normal life. we have some people who were working at the airport. and yesterday, one of them told the king, when he was passing and visiting the patients. he said, 'hey. i'll be working in the airport again in 6 months. you will see me at the airport again. the courage of these people is striking."
