>> marty: >> reporter: learning about a major terrorist arrest breaking news out of belgium. we are learning about a major terrorism arrest. there are reports that the person *might be the third bomber from the brussels airport bombing. the man arrested has only been identified this morning as faycal c. belgian media is reporting he might be the man on the right side of this surveillance picture -- who ran away after the attacks. we are still awaiting confirmation from authorities in beglium. the other two people in this photo died in the attack. they were suicide bombers. the man on the left is a known isis bomb maker. the man in the middle is one of two brothers who participated in the attacks.

>> reporter:right now there is a manhunt underway for this man. he is naim al-ha-med. investigators believe he could be the second bomber from the brussels subway station. his d-n-a was found at an apartment where three other terrorists were staying before tuesday's attack. police say he posed as a syrian refugee to sneak into europe. investigators say he should be considered armed and dangerous. the other subway bomber is believed to have died in the attack. he has been identified as the brother one of the airport attackers. >> reporter:this morning we are still waiting to learn the identity of two americans killed in the brussels terror attacks. >> reporter:we do know that there are at least two americans still missing after the brussels bombing. justin and stephanie shults from tennessee were dropping off stephanie's mother at the airport just before the attacks. the couple live in brussels. the mother survived the blast but says she still hasn't heard from her daughter or son-in-law. >> reporter:more breaking news

>>justine:for your health: here is a look at some of the big medical news from this week: the first case of sexually transmitted zika virus has been confirmed in california. the department of public health says the case is in san diego. zika is mostly spread by mosquitos -- but it can also be transmitted through sex. although the symptoms of the virus are usually mild --- zika can be dangerous for pregnant women. it's been linked to a birth defect that causes babies to be born with abnormally small heads. >> will:the c-d-c has now issued some new guidelines for the zika virus. it now says that women who have zika -- or symptoms of the virus --- should wait at least eight weeks to try and get pregnant. the symptoms can be similar to the flu and include: fever, rash, joint pain and eye redness. as for men, they're being told to wait six months before having unprotected sex. >>justine: still ahead.

>>justine:san francisco's mayor is taking a stand against a new law in north carolina, targeting the transgender community. mayor ed lee just banned funding for all city employees to travel to that state. the north carolina law eliminates all local ordinances banning l-g-b-t discrimination. it also says anyone in a public restroom must use the bathroom for the gender on their birth certificate. local advocates say it puts transgender people in a difficult position. "the law that was passed on wednesday is the most sweeping anti-lgbt, anti-trans law in this country." "ridiculous. transgender people just want to do what anyone wants to do in the bathroom. pee in peace and get out!" the law may put the 20-17 n-b-a all-star game in jeapordy.since charlotte is scheduled to host the big game. when asked about the lawnorth carolina native stephen curry says "the right things need to happen" for the game to stay in charlotte.

this weekend the presidential race is turning its attention to the threat of isis abroad and here at home. our national correspondent mark meredith takes a look at where things stand in the race for the white house days after the attacks in belgium. tuesday's deadly attacks in brussels may have happened thousands of miles from the united states - but the threat of terrosim is now front and center in america's presidential race. after winning by wide margins in utah - this week texas senator ted cruz is turning his campaign's focus to foreign policy. despite widespread criticism from the white house and even some republicans - senator cruz is doubling sdown on a call for police to use domestic surveilance on muslim americans. "we need to be using proactive policing, law enforcement and intelligence and national security resources to prevent radical terrorists to monitor, intercept, and stop radical islamic terrorists before they carry out acts of terror." it's too early to tell if voters will emrbace the cruz's campaigns efforts. the latest quinnipiac university poll shows cruz 14 points behind donald trump in a national survey. in the latest delegate count -

trump leads cruz by 264 delegates, ohio governor john kasich remains in a distant third with 143 delegates. for hillary clinton's campaign - this week is about showcasing her experience as secretary of state as a vital tool to separate her campaign not just from senator bernie sanders but from her republican rivals. attacked by a man seen in this surviellance video. sot- "as you can tell the suspect doesn't care whether or not he kills you or not. he's gonna get what he wants to get - that's what makes him very dangerous." and, what the suspect wanted, officer carlos manfedi says, was the victim's bag. in the video, you can see the suspect stab the victim multiple times in the upper torso and head, before police say he ran off with a woman. the man described as 5-foot-10, heavy-set african american man waering blue jeans and a dark hoodie. sot- "the female which you don't see in this video is 5'8" in height and she had dreadlocks or breads but it was tied up in a pony tail. now, i'm not asking if you remembering seeing the incident on february 18th, but if you visit that area or work in that area, and you've seen two people that fit that description, please let us know. any little information could be the san francisco police officer's association is offering a 5-thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the suspects. this is the city's eighth

peninsula. police in menlo park are looking for two people who may have tried to lure a child into their car. it happened yesterday afternoon near sharon road and alameda de las pulgas. the parents called the police and said their son was approached by two men who told him to get in the car. he told them no and walked away. they were driving a silver four door sedan. police say it's not clear if the men were actually trying to lure the boy into the car or just trying to scare him. in the east bay.bart's fremont line is closed right now. bart trains are not running between the san leandro and bay fair stations. the closure is for track maintenance. a free emergency bus bridge is available for riders with no other way to get around. *but bart says that could add an extra 30 to 60 minutes to your travel time. everything should be re-opened by 4 monday morning. this is just the first of *six weekend closures that will take place between now and the middle of june.

for your health: here is a look at some of the big medical news from this week: the first case of sexually transmitted zika virus has been confirmed in california. the department of public health says the case is in san diego. zika is mostly spread by mosquitos -- but it can also be transmitted through sex. although the symptoms of the virus are usually mild --- zika can be dangerous for pregnant women. it's been linked to a birth defect that causes babies to be born with abnormally small heads. >> will:the c-d-c has now issued some new guidelines for the zika virus. it now says that women who have zika -- or symptoms of the virus --- should wait at least eight weeks to try and get pregnant. the symptoms can be similar to the flu and include: fever, rash, joint pain and eye redness. as for men, they're being told to wait six months before having unprotected sex. still ahead.
