and. we will plot the winds for this afternoon and into next week as well coming. >> marty:big news we continue to follow out of the east bay: a minister is accused of sexually assaulting a girl under 14-years old. this is the suspect -- fernando maldonado. kron4's philippe djegal shows us where he worked. and how one person who knew him reacted to news of the arrest. sot- "he was a nice guy and he was a pastor of a church and that's why i'm really shocked, you know." the voice of man disturbed by the allegations against his old neighbor fernando maldonado. sot- "he has a little girl, uh, she was about three and he just had a baby when he moved out." the neighbor, who prefered not to share his face or name, says maldonado moved out of this

concord townhome on schenone court about nine months ago, after living here for about a year and a half. the 32-year-old suspect was arrested earlier this week by martinez police, after a young girl reported monday that she had been sexually assaulted by maldonado over a span of three years. investigators say the girl was under 14 years of age when this all started. sot- "very nice guy, so i just totally disappointed in the man for doing something like that." investigators have not released how or when maldonado and the victim met. though maldonado is now a concord resident, martinez police say he once lived in their city.

at one point, he was a minister at morello avenue baptist church. then, as of 20-14, a pastor at grace bible church in pleasant hill. search warrants were served in all three city's in which maldonado worked or lived. sot- "oh, my gosh." for now, maldonado is being held here at the martinez detention facility. his bail set at 750-thousand dollars. philippe djegal, kron four news. prince's remains have been cremated. his publicist says his remains will be kept in private. friends and family members held a private memorial service for prince at his home in minnesota on saturday. large crowds of his fans have been gathering outside to pay their respects to the music legend. there will be a musical celebration of his life, but the date for that event will be announced later. no cause of death has been released for the music icon. according to prince's representatives, it will be at least four weeks before the results of his autopsy are made public. and fans in the bay area continues to remember prince. a lot of "purple rain" poured down last night in san francisco.

the sacred heart church at fell and fillmore held a roller disco tribute to prince. fans of all ages showed up decked out in their best purple outfits for "let's go crazy" and celebrated the life of prince. if you missed out --- you still have a chance to skate in tribute to prince today. there will be a free outdoor roller disco at golden park. it's happening at the skatin' place and it starts at noon. new this morning. the first ever solar-powered airplane to complete a trans- pacific flight landed safely in the bay area. the pilot left hawaii thursday and landed at moffitt field just before midnight last night. >> marty:these are the photos. we also have video from earlier in the day when the plane flew over the golden gate bridge. his is from our helicopter partnership with a-b-c 7. you can see the "solar impulse 2" flying over san francisco. the trip from hawaii is part of a larger trip around the world. the pilot says stopping in the silicon valley will help link the project to the pioneering spirit of the area. breaking news from overnight. at least two people are recovering this morning after shots were fired outside of a high school prom in wisconsin late last night.

authorities say someone with a rifle fired at two students as they left the school. the shooter is in custody. the two victims and the gunman were treated at a hospital. there is no word on their condition or what may have motivated the shooting. police have not said if the shooter was also a student. more breaking news from overnight. four federal agents were shot while trying to make an arrest at a motel in kansas. it happened in topeka. two u-s marshalls and an f-b-i agent were shot. a 4th agent was shot but it's unclear which agency he works for. none of the injuries are life threatening. during the shooting a fire broke out at the motel. we do not yet know if the shooter was captured or managed to escape. we will keep you updated on this story as more details come into the newsroom. happening today -- it's game four of the warriors playoff series with the houston rockets. all the talk is about star guard steph curry.

after he became exhausted by the powerful currents at ocean beach. beach patrol came to his rescueas hundreds of onlookers lined the sidewalk. "we saw this guy start walking out of the water. but he was really fighting it." a spokesman from the fire department says the man - who is foreign - told beach patrol he was too tired to make it to shore. "then they started dragging him. out of nowhere when he got to shore he wasn't moving no more." although he looks unconscious in this videoparamedics report the man could speak but was simply exhausted. "i thought maybe he fell. and was concust. it was a pretty dramatic thing." today's rescue has a happy ending. firefighters say the man was taken to u-c medical center for observation.and will be okay. but this rescue demonstrates once again - ankle deep water at

more bay area news: in san francisco -- part of sacramento street has been reopened after crews filled a big sinkhole. a broken sewer main caused the 17 by 22 foot sinkhole thursday near lyon street. crews still have some work to do -- they will have to briefly close sacramento street again tomorrow morning so they can repave the area. sacramento street reopens - sewer repairs are complete crews from the san francisco public utilities commission finished repairing a broken 18- inch sewer main that caused a 17 by 22 by 10 foot sinkhole to appear on sacramento between lyon and baker streets. crews have completed weekend work; they have filled in the sinkhole; and, sacramento street is now open to both vehicular traffic and pedestrians. the precise cause of the sewer main break has not been determined at this time, although crews believe the age of the pipe may have been a contributing factor. on monday morning at 7 am, crews will return to repave the section of sacramento street where the work occurred. during paving, crews will have to temporarily close sacramento street, between lyon and baker. it will reopen in the afternoon. residents will be able to access their driveways. season. the vehicle >> marty: took off

new this morning. the first ever solar-powered airplane to complete a trans- pacific flight landed safely in the bay area. the pilot left hawaii thursday and landed at moffitt field just before midnight last night. these are the photos. we also have video from earlier in the day when the plane flew over the golden gate bridge. his is from our helicopter partnership with a-b-c 7. you can see the "solar impulse 2" flying over san francisco. the trip from hawaii is part of a larger trip around the world. the pilot says stopping in the silicon valley will help link the project to the pioneering spirit of the area. breaking news from overnight. one person is dead and at least two others are recovering this morning after a shooting outside of a high school prom in wisconsin late last night. we have learned in the last 5 minutes that the shooter was an 18-year old man and that he has died this morning. authorities say he fired at two students as they left the school. the two victims were treated at a hospital. there is no word on their condition or what may have motivated the shooting. police have not said if the shooter was also a student.
