>> grant:starting with. proposition 50. it is on the ballot everywhere. this is a statewide measure. proposition 50. is in response to the political scandals involving leland yee and two other state senators. if it passes.proposition 50 would change the state constitution. it would allow legislators to suspend fellow members without pay and benefits. currently.when suspended.state legistators still get their salary and benefits. this is the only state measure on the primary ballot. measure a-a is on the ballot in every county in the bay area. it's a 12-dollar per year. parcel tax measure. with revenue earmarked for the restoration of wetlands surrounding the san francisco bay. the tax would be in place for 20 years and would raise 500- million dollars to restore tidal

marshes across the bay area. in san francisco. prop c is on the ballot. it's an effort. to increase affordable housing. it would amend the city charter to increase requirements for affordable housing on developments with 25 or more units. it would alo give the city's board of supervisors the authority to alter the existing requirements *and impose new affordable housing requirements through ordiances. >> vicki:prop d is on the ballot in san francisco. it requires office of citizen complaints or o-c-c to investigate every officer- involved shooting regardless if a complaint is filed. this proposition comes in the wake of protests in san francisco over police shootings. recently the "frisco five" and their supporters forced the resignation of san francisco police chief greg surh. the way it works. the city's office of citizen

complaints is responsible for investigating complaints of san francisco police misconduct. the o-c-c is not required to investigate incidents involving police officers if no one files a complaint. the proposal would change that. making an o-c-c investigation mandatory anytime a san francisco police officer fires a gun killing or physically injuring someone. in san jose voters are deciding on measure c. if it passes.there would be less regulation of medical marijuana dispensaries. the measure would allow pot clubs to set up shop in more city zones. potentially bring them closer to schools.including pre-schools. it would also lower the level of criminal background checks for employees. a "no" vote on measure "c". is a vote to maintain the current regulations. >> vicki:and in napa county. voters there are decidiing on measure h. this measure would raise $269 million for seismic upgrades to napa valley unified district schools. it would also pay to move and rebuild two schools found to be on the west napa fault. which triggered the earthquake of august 2014. and stick with kron four for continuing primary election day coverage. the polls close at 8 tonight in california. and we'll have expanded coverage tonight from 8 p-m until 11:15 pm. as the election results continue to come in across the country.
