today in the middle of downtown ottawa.at a construction site. the incident occured right next to a popular shopping mall.and completelty stopped the flow of traffic. not only did the sinkhole cause the road to shut down. it led to a gas leak and a water main break. several nearby businesses. have been evacuated and people are being told to avoid the area. a van and a light pole fell into the hole as it grew larger.
